Hi Summer I’m recording that and some weekend I’ll watch all the episodes back to back 

I didn’t realise it was a series! I’ve series linked it and am looking forward to the next episode. My house is over 120 years old, and I do have a long list of all it’s previous owners

Thanks Yogi It was a reasonably productive meeting. I think I have all the info I need to do the client's tax return but it will the most complex one I've done for a long time. The client accepts that my fee will be higher than other years.

I've been doing the necessary research and have been agreeing a plan of action with my client. I won't go into detail as it's highly technical - oh and by the way Mr HMRC it's not box A79 on your helpsheet, that was the previous year, it should be box A86.

I'm not intending to watch Hard Sun staring tonight as I'm not into apocalyptic nightmare stuff. It's based on the sun destroying this planet in 5 years time. The sun is 4.6 billion years old and scientists consider that it will remain stable for at least 5 billion years. 5 billion years is a billion times longer than 5 years. Oddy enough, the BBC page on the series has these two programmes which one might also like - New Tricks and incredibly enough Father Brown!!

I walked to church and back this morning as it would have been just as quick as driving once I had removed the ice/frost from the car. It's a nice sunny day here but is cold and, although not much, there were still patches of ice on the pavements on the way back.

As we are now into Ephiphany we had We Three Kings as the opening hymn/carol.
