It’s been a busy old day.

Moonie, yayyyy your floor is sorted at last.

Another yayyyy for Summer finishing work and now being able to relax and enjoy Christmas. 👍🏻But why are you having your Christmas dinner tomorrow?

El, I like my sprouts cooked but not mushy. 

 

Because I’ve actually got Xmas eve off work for a change, so we’re doing dinner first and then we can relax & eat picky/party food for the next 2 days  

my godmother does it every year  

 

how was your day?

 We’re doing Christmas dinner on the day and doing a buffet on Boxing Day

My day was busy and I still have some gifts to wrap for the tiddlers🙈

You could use the assistance of a gift wrapping elf 🧝‍♀️

Another cloudy mild day here. A bit of rain overnight and may get some more later.

No choir or organist at the church service this morning so a said service. I think it's because the Midnight Eucharist is tonight so they are being let off.

Good morning everyone, drizzly again.  I hope your Mum and Dad were well when you visited Yogi.  How lovely and relaxing for you Summer to have Christmas Eve off from work so that you can enjoy your dinner today and then just snack for the rest of the holiday.  Our little boy could see the sheep from the patio doors in the dining room (since we re-planted the slope with lower shrubs the view is better, it was all very tall shrubs before) and got very excited.  His Daddy took him down to see them when he was dressed.  The sheep don't come very close to the fence unlike the cows which were in the field before.  We got quite fond of them and my grandson used to stroke the baby under the watchful eye of the mother.  I don't really venture down to the bottom of the garden these days, I have to be careful on the steps, they're not steep but they are big.

i had mine on Saturday with a trip to Sheffield for the football and beer. Mrs Jer will be having a weekend at Normafest. We managed three trips to Durham Cathedral. Otherwise i’m afraid our time consists of backwards and forwards to Hospital in a different town.

They’re all arriving at different times, between noon and 5.30pm

Middle son is hubby’s sous chef.

No, just my usual time.

No, thank goodness, nobody is on a sleepover 

What are your plans for tomorrow?

Lol no set plans, we were going on a nice walk but i’ll Just see how I feel in the morning.. I’m straight back to work on Wednesday so I really just want to be lazy
