If I mention Charles Rennie Mackintosh, that's why it's of considerable interest.

Young actress by the name of Terenia Edwards. Could be someone who becomes much better known in the future. She was in last year's BBC adaptation of The Moonstone, has done some stage work.

Cloudy, dry and mild here. All change tonight and tomorrow though Caroline's impact less than elsewhere.
Yogi, I'm glad the tree decorating went well Take photos of it from all angles so that if any bauble gets knocked off you can put it back in the right place
Summer, Lady and the Tramp is worth watching if you get a chance to
I hope everyone has a good day
Great idea, El
Afternoon all.
Weather is rainy and dreich.
Hope youâve all had a good day.
Evening ð itâs been a lovely day here, but windy this afternoon. I even managed to get some washing out on the line
aw thatâs lovely squiggle, how did you meet your husband? And when did he ask you out?
the first movie I remember seeing at the cinema was Pinocchio

Good morning everyone
I forgot to post on the forum yesterday morning, so I thought Iâd get in early this morning.
Weather is wild - very wet and windy, and snow is forecast for the afternoon.
I better go grocery shopping before the snow appears.
Have a good day, all
Good morning everyone
Raining and breezy here. Currently mild with temperatures going down during the day. Snow or sleet is on the way and it's set to be cold for quite some time.
Summer, Pinocchio probably wasn't the first film I saw at the cinema but was the first memorable film I saw.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone, I woke to a downpour that looked as if we had a thick fog but it's all cleared away, for now. I hope all those that are in for snow will be able to stock up in case it hangs around and makes driving difficult.
My hubby was a friend of my brother Summer. I can still see quite clearly the first time I ever saw him. We had all gone to a dance in a hotel in the middle of Epping Forest. My brother came separately, me and my friend went with my sister and her husband. I looked across the hall and saw this incredibly handsome man with my brother and thought 'wow my brother's friends don't normally look like that!' As we got to know each other through his visits to our home I realised he was very shy, like me. My father used to know a guy who ran a ticket agency and used to get free tickets (to fill up the theatres) and so our first date was to see The Amorous Prawn starring Joan Greenwood, I can't remember the name of the Theatre. It was very plush and very enjoyable. I still have the programme.
Enjoy your day everyone
That's a nice memory to have Squiggle If memory serves me right The Amorous Prawn also starred Ian Carmichael.
What a lovely memory, Squiggle
Good afternoon itâs bright & windy here, and feels cold but not freezing. I think we could do with more frosts!
Yogi, have you got snow?
squiggle thatâs so lovely, thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed reading your post. It canât be easy for shy lads to ask out girls, so Iâm glad he was a friend of your brothers, I think that helps
I did tomorrow's local shopping this morning as there could be some snow here overnight and during tomorrow, not enough to start making snowmen though.

Smart move to get the shopping done today, El
If anyone has bought a candle from Primark which is in the shape of a Christmas tree, don't light it - Primark has withdrawn it from sale after a customer reported that it had burst into flames:

Some sunshine and cloud here. There was some rain overnight. Sunday/Monday seems to be the more likely time for it to snow here.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone.
Summer, still no snow here but I know there is lots further north. There is some frost this morning.
Will be concentrating on online gift buying today - I really need to get a move on!
Have a good day, everyone.
It's not a good idea to put your head in a microwave (not plugged in), then get your friends to pour Polyfilla in the microwave:

Good morning everyone it's a bright morning here but very windy.

I see in my spam folder that I've placed my Amazon ID under the risk of termination,
"We have faced some problems with your account Amazon, So Please update your account details. If you do not update your account within 24 hours (from opening this email) will be officially permanently disabled. "
And they want me to click on Update Now link which would go to some company's site in Malaysia.
I think I'll just ignore it and delete it
Good afternoon itâs very cold here, bright & sunny and quite windy. But no storm to tell of and definitely no snow. How are all of you guys doing? I hope youâre keeping warm

How stupid do you have to be to do something like that?!

Ignore and delete is definitely the right thing to do

Hi Summer.
Weâve been out buying gifts and it is really, really cold. No snow though and not windy.

Summer, you may get some snow on Sunday. I might but it could be rain rather than snow. North of here there's an amber warning for snow on Sunday and that could cause problems for some people if they need to get around then.
I'm keeping nice and warm here

hugs for summer if you pop in
Thanks girls, sweet dreams both
Good morning everyone
Sunny and cold here. Tomorrow is the more likely day for there to be significant snow here. Could go to church in the morning and come out to find it snowing. Or it may be just sleet or rain. 20mm of rain or 20cm of snow.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone.
A dry and frosty morning.
El, tomorrow I hope you get enough snow to look pretty but not enough to cause travel problems.
Have a good day everyone
Good morning everyone, overcast and grey this morning, we've had some snow in our area, so they say, but only on the tops of the moors.
Enjoy your day everyone
