night yogi and summer
Good morning everyone
Cloudy with showers this morning and not warm.
I hope everyone has a good day
For those interested in such things and get up early tomorrow, if the sky is clear you'll be able to see Venus and Jupiter very close together in the south east of the sky just above the horizon, best time 40 minutes before sunrise in England and Wales.

Good morning everyone, a very strong and very cold north wind is blowing so it feels really chilly.
Enjoy your day everyone
Back from church which was packed being the Remembrance Sunday service with youngsters from guides etc. Next year's one will be particularly significant being the 100th anniversary. And the 11th is on a Sunday.
I see that the BBC transmitter at Glyndyfrdwy is having some problems. Obviously in Wales and may be the longest name of any village (or larger) which is one word without the 5 vowels. Back in 1400 the baron at the local manor, Owain GlyndÅĩr, declared himself Prince of Wales and lead the revolt against the rule of Henry IV. (Anglicised by Shakespeare as Owen Glendower in Henry IV, part 1).
Good evening all.
Hope you have all had a good day.

Summer, there will be another chance to see that conjunction tomorrow but Venus and Jupiter won't be as close together as they were today.
Since my last post I've seen the forecast for tomorrow, Not good news for anyone trying to see the conjunction unless you live at at the top of Scotland

A short clip of yesterday's conjunction taken at St Ives in Cornwall:
The old paper ÂĢ10 note will cease to be legal tender from the beginning of March next year. The treasurer at church asked me that on Sunday but this was only announced by the Bank of England yesterday.
I hope everyone has a good day

It's still and dank and will fester through the night.
That's how the BBC weather forecaster Tomasz Schafernaker has described the weather on the radio just now
