Cutting the grass, if it is dry enough. What about you?
Keira eats slugs too - absolutely revolting.
We do our best to try to stop her because they can get lung worm from slugs but a couple of nights ago, I let her out last thing and there was a slug on the doorstep. When I let her in a couple of minutes later, the slug was gone - and slugs don't move that fast!

Good morning everyone
Fairly cloudy here though no rain expected.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone.
Weather is to be a mix of sunshine and showers.
I'm still hoping to mow the lawns at some point today, as the forecast for the next few days is not good.
Have a good day, everyone.
Good morn9ng everyone
Well, washing on the line though it's not looking to good out there. Supposed to be just a 5% change of rain today. We shall see
Yogi, happy lawn mowing, if you get the chance
Shopping and banking to do. So back later. Have a good morning everyone
Yogi, the forecast for you seems much the same here, rain tomorrow, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - I hope you are able to get the grass cut
Moonie, that 5% chance of rain is the lowest % the Met Office use - what it effectively means is that they don't think it will rain but they won't commit to it in case it does rain
Good morning everyone, loads of cloud but with a nice patch of blue over to my left. Being of an optimistic nature I have made up my mind that the clouds are all moving away and the patch of blue sky will get bigger and bigger
Enjoy your day everyone

Hi El
What you might call, sitting on the fence, then?

Hi squiggle
I am what you might call and optimist with just a hint of pessimism
Opening in the UK on 1st December rather than 22nd November in the States with their Thanksgiving Day on the 23rd.
Afternoon all.
I managed to get both lawns cut by dashing out between showers.
Moonie, I hope you got your banking and shopping done.
El, I've been getting lots of scam calls from Indian (I think) call centres. They tell me their names are John, David or even Kevin and they want me to claim for an accident I've not had, or there is an issue with my BT broadband and finally I got the "there is a problem with your computer" call. They realised very quickly that I was onto them and hung up - the fact that I was laughing might have given it away.
My number has obviously been passed onto scams'r'us.com.
Squiggle, I love the swan pic and the quote.

Hi Yogi
Yep, shopping and banking done. Also washing dried too
Well done on getting the lawns mowed
Yogi.....
Yogi, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the call centres scam callers from outside the UK think that what they are doing is providing a legitimate service not realising that they themselves have been conned by the real crooks who are employing them and probably paying them a pittance.
velvet donkey posted:Grass cut here too Yogi for same reasons - the Met Office five day weather forecast I wish you'd stop hanging up though - I only want a few words
Hope all are well and great quote squiggs - these little things keep me going

I think that the BT broadband callers (I'm not with BT) and the "there's something wrong with your computer" callers know they're scamming because, as soon as they realise I'm not falling for it, they hang up.
