Yogi, I think quite a few of us like the Father Brown series and Mark Williams is much better in the title role than I had thought when I first heard that a series was going to be made. They've already made and shown more episodes than the number of stories G K Chesterton wrote so they are clearly intending to continue making them as long as Mark Williams wants to, provided they remain as popular as they have been so far.

And no prizes if you know what the G and K stand for without looking it up They are normal Christian names and I do know them without looking them up.

I didn't know what the G & K stood for. I had to look it up.

Good morning everyone

A bit cloudier and breezier here than yesterday and there could be a little bit of drizzle mid morning.

Summer, I'm glad you had a nice time with your friends and hope your sunburn has eased. I noticed that your auto-speller kicked in and decided to capitlaise aloe vera to aloe Vera

Off for a dental hygienist session shortly.

I hope everyone has a good day

Afternoon all.

Sunshine and showers up here. Keira and I managed to get out for a walk between showers.

Tonight El, you have a dental appointment you can look forward to.

Moonie, I don't think I'm getting the heatwave.

Squiggle, I hope you are having a good day.

Hi Yogi

Glad you and Keira managed a walk out

I have just seen the weather forecast for Scottyland for next week. It's looking very good

23 degrees as far as the north of Scotland

So methinks you won't need El's thermal blankets after all

Moonie

Moonie, there was a very well known (locally) hypnotherapist called Henry Blythe in Gloucester when I was young. Although he was a stage hypotherapist he also had his own practice doing things like helping people to give up smoking, When i was in the scouts I did go to his practice premises when I was doing bob-a-job week. I can't remember if I did any work for him but it wouldn't have been anything to do with hypotherapy, more like brushing up leaves on the driveway.

Here's an old 1959 Pathe News item about him:

Yogi, sends thick thermal blankets to you so that you can have your own heatwave

THanks El, I'm sure they'll come in handy at some point.

In that case, I'll buy an extra bottle of Factor 50
