Evening everyone I've got BB on but I'm very half hearted about watching it, i miss the BB of old before all the constant foul language & aggressive arguments
the cinema was brilliant, we saw Diary of a Wimpy Kid
then I was highly productive by cleaning the car, garden & house. (Not every single part of it obvs.) it's been a lovely day
moonie the swans sound beautiful, I'm glad the little ones are doing well
Hi Summer, unfortunately it's no longer BB as we knew it.
I'm glad you enjoyed the film. You've had a much more productive day than me.
Off to get some sleep, goodnight and sweet dreams, Summer, Velvet and Ros.
It's just vile yogi, I thought this year had much more potential but I'm not sure I can't stand listening to this foulness & aggression every night. I hate to think it's an example of how the world is becoming
sweet dreams, I hope you get a good night's sleep
i won't be far behind you, sweet dreams velvet, Ros & moonie
night yogi summer velvet moons

Summer, I hope you and your friend's daughter enjoy the film.
Squiggle, I had a very relaxing day. I hope you did too.
Moonie, good to see you. Remember to upload any new vids of your babies.
El, I must admit I prefer the old Fireman Sam episodes - the ones where John Alderton did all the voices.
There you go Yogi
Good morning everyone
Very bad news overnight about Xochi
I hope everyone has a good day

Thank you for bringing it to my attention, El.
I knew she didn't keep well but I'm still shocked, and very sad too.
I have posted in the thread.
The children aren't arriving until lunchtime so I have time to get organised this morning.
Moonie, I shall show your swan Vids to PB...she will love them.
I'll be back late tomorrow night or Wednesday morning.
Good morning everyone, an in-between day, not rainy but not brilliantly sunny either.
I think you're right in your summing up Summer, the foul language and aggression are indicative of what the world is becoming, sad isn't it? Thank you Yogi yes I had a lovely day topped off by getting the sweetest hug from a certain 2 year old young man, made my week! Enjoy the littlies today.
Enjoy your day everyone
PS Sad news about Xochi, brave lady.
Doesn't sound as if I'm missing anything worth while by not watching BB
Squiggle, that's good to get your batteries recharged with a hug
A quick Hi!
Its awful to return under these circumstances but I will say that I haven't forgotten you. My life seems to be filled with visits to my Mum, sorting out her house, contents, finances and care. Obviously I did a lot of canvassing too and am happy to report that we took our constituency back.
GJ, and we haven't forgotten you either. I hope that the work involved with sorting out your Mum's house, contents, finances and care eases. Of course, your visits to your Mum continue but hopefully you can some more time to do the things you want to do
Looks as if accountants were responsible for the earliest form of writing:

aw joe you're a good one, well done for taking such great care of your mum, I hope you're looking after yourself too
very sad news about xochi, her thread shows how much everyone loved her
yogi i I didn't realise you were doing a back to back sleepover! I hope they're being good as gold for you
I've got my friends daughter sleeping over, it was her granny's funeral today and I think she fancied a change of scenery after. We walked the dogs, ate tea, made some mobile beaches in glass jars and watched rubbish you tube videos
sweet dreams everyone
Good morning everyone
Fairly sunny here.
Summer, you are a true friend to your friend and her daughter
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone, I hope the sleepover is going well for Yogi and that plenty of hugs are happening and lots of fun.
Enjoy your day everyone
Some 30,000 wild bees engulfed a seller's table at a car boot sale on the outskirts of Cheltenham.
http://www.gloucestershirelive...0-bees-engulf-105449
Besides the photos, there's a clip at the top of the article which doesn't seem to show much but there's another clip further down which does show tha table covered in bees.
They were quite friendly and it doesn't seem that there was any panic or people getting stung.
The boiler engineer is due at noon to so the annual service which was postponed because he was ill.
Good afternoon Buddies
Breezy day here. Some sunshine occasionally. Getting quite humid now
Yogi, I hope PB and BB liked my swan videos
I have to real gems but unfortunately the files are to large for here or FB, though I know you are not on the later
Have a super day peeps
Good afternoon a mild bit breezy day here, I'm enjoying a peaceful & lazy lunch break
moonie, how's the house? I hope your swans are on top form today
el, great news story, it's nice to see them thriving
wheres squiggle today?
Yogi, I hope all is going well with the tiddlers
No problems with the boiler service
Moonie, as you probably know there's a maximum of 100 mb for video clips on this forum so OK for very short clips (I think possibly about 40 seconds on 30 fps on an iPhone). You aren't the first person to have been unable to post longer clips. The Hoop.la Social Strata people advise people to split longer clips into shorter segments. (don't have an iphone so don't ask me how to do that )
Summer, Squiggle posted here at 9.27 am.
I hope Yogi is surviving the double dose of tiddlers
I'm back and shattered
Haven't had time to read back yet. I'm in the Hotel thread, then BB but I will come back and post afterwards.
night yogi and summer if you pop in
Squiggle, nothing beats a hug from a little one.
Moonie, the children loved the swan videos.
El, I'm glad the boiler service went well.
Summer, I hope the sleepover went well. I'm sure your friend appreciates your support.
Off to bed for some much needed sleep.
Goodnight and sweet dreams, Ros
Night owl hug for Summer and Velvet.
Good morning everyone
Quite sunny and warm here.
Yogi, I hope you had a refreshing night's sleep and have de-shattered
The boiler engineer forgot to take his pressurising pump away with him so will be picking it up this morning. It's a bit like a more powerful bike pump.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone.
Weather is dry atm
I slept well, thanks El.
Got to catch up on all those housework jobs I didn't get done over the last two days.
Have a good day everyone.
Yogi, good luck with those housework jobs
I'm glad you were able to catch up on your sleep
It was a coincidence that I posted about the bees at a car boot sale at Cheltenham yesterday and the item which was on the news yesterday about bees in a car bonnet at Hull:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/u...m-swamps-car-in-hull
(and of course that clip does include the obvious joke)
Good morning everyone, a lovely sunny morning here. I don't know much about bee keeping EL, is this a normal time for the queen bee to be leaving to make a new hive or something? Seems an odd time of year, mid summer.
Enjoy your day everyone
Squiggle, googling for bee swarms indicates that the season is between early May and late July so it's mid-season now.

Hi Sweet
The house is still in the same condition as it has been since it was reported
The good news is, we have an 'inspection/materials assessment appointment' for Tuesday 20th June and not before flippin time too IMO
This is always assuming the house is still intact by then

Good afternoon Buddies on another sad day for London
Lovely and sunny here. A gentle breeze, hence second lot of washing on my line and a third lot about to go in
Make hay whilst the sun shines

Moonie, that inspection had better get things sorted out for you else the line by Mark Anthony in Julius Caesar Act 3 scene 1:
"Cry âHavoc!â and let slip the dogs of war"
As you say, another sad day in London

Hi El
I don't have an iPhone yet. That's on my shopping list when the new one comes out around September, I think
I currently have a Samsung galaxy 4. Way out of date but a great workhorse
Yep, did know about the file restriction on here but never gave it a thought when I was trying to post a video at the time, as mine are usually less than 45 seconds
Also I have started taking videos on my mobile which are huge and much much to big for here or FB
I will always continue to take videos on my small digital camera which I have always used to post on here though
Moonie, there are other options for longer video clips. For instance Photobucket:
http://support.photobucket.com...Troubleshooting-Tips
There are size restrictions but larger than here.
And Youtube where I don't think there are any size restrictions.
There is of course the issue over the time & cost which could well make it unrealistic.
It appears that a sixth series of Father Brown is being made. It's filmed in Gloucestershire and the crew and cast are filming today in Gloucester. That's reported on my local news website today,
UK scientists have found that dental patients experience less pain during surgery if they are "walking" on a natural beach environment. Article has a clip of this though nothing gruesome shown.:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/scie...environment-40248906
Later in the article is a photo of some dental instruments but just on a tray, not in use.
