hi yogi yes going back to Durham tomorrow
night yogi summer and everybody
Good morning everyone
Cloudy here, little in the way of rain though.
Yogi, I hope you are fully recovered by now, and Summer, I hope you are getting over your bug
Ros, I hope you are having a good time with your son
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone.
Weather is dry and cloudy.
Summer, I hope you are feeling better today?
I'm back to normal, thanks El.
I'm dithering about going to one of the garden centres today. As it's a Bank Holiday, they may be very busy and I prefer a quiet browse.
Have a good day everyone.
On my local news website they have a list of roads where mobile speed cameras for the month are situated. This time there's a road in Cheltenham I quite often go down. It goes between the A40 and the A4019 both of which are 40 mph. The speed camera will be working overtime as I know that the majority of drivers assume that the road is also 40 mph. I seem to be one of the few who know that the limit is 30 mph (there are signs at either end).
Yogi, I'm glad you are back to normal I hope you enjoy whatever you decide to do
Good morning everyone, disappointingly grey and still chilly, dry though so that's a blessing.
Summer I hope you are fighting off the bug and feeling better this morning. Yogi I'm glad you're feeling better and were able to enjoy the party.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning another bright start that's fast clouding over with black clouds..
i am starting to feel better thank you, a little low on energy but no more cold symptoms
yogi I'm glad you feel better too
Squiggle, the weather here is much the same as yours. Typical bank holiday weather
Summer, I'm glad you are on the mend
This sublime clip is taken from the recording session of an aria from Handel's opera Rinaldo.
The aria sung by another soprano Ingrid Kertesi is the music played during the trailer for Second Chance Summer: Tuscany.
The music from that show is very popular among our forum folk
good afternoon all I've been out for a gentle walk with Bramble and feel so much better- yippeeeeee!
Summer, that's good to have been able to get out for a walk with Bramble
I often listen to PM on Radio 4. Although it's a news programme, one of the two regular presenters, Eddie Mair, often has interviews with people who are not connected with the main news of the day. Today he interviewed Antimo Magnotta.

23 minutes long but fascinating.
Evening all
Summer, I'm glad you are feeling better.
I didn't go to the garden centre today, I decided to wait until it's quieter.
Middle son popped in and we had lunch and a natter.

Having her makes me get up and out, whether I feel like it or not. I did feel better for it after too

The garden centre can restock with fresh plants now and you will be able to choose them in peace

Yogi, going there on Wednesday sounds a good idea
Summer, that shows Bramble is good for you
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone, bright and sunny here. I've just had two long-tailed tits on the decking. I was a little puzzled as one kept diving towards where the patio doors meet the house wall. I thought maybe there were some insects there, well after 4 or 5 lunges it came away with a long thread of white, don't know what it could be, maybe thick spider web, but obviously it is to be used in nest building, so sweet.
I'm glad you are feeling so much better Summer. I hope your trip to the garden centre tomorrow will be very rewarding Yogi.
Enjoy your day everyone
A piece of Tudor history:
She was the lyricist but the music is by Thomas Tallis.
Started watching Guardians of the Galaxy on televison last night. I gave up after a while as I couldn't take any more of it, I see on the BBC site that there's a sequel which is getting the thumbs up by critics and also the director has announced he's going to make a third,
I won't be watching
Research is being done over the next year to see if there is any truth in the belief that joint pain is triggered by bad weather.

Good afternoon Buddies
Cold but a sunny and dry day here
Yogi and Sweet and Bramble, pleased to see you are all feeling much better now
I won't mention the GE
Have a lovely evening one and all
Moonie, it's been sunny here too I hope you have a lovely evening
Evening all.
I had a really good day with PB and BB.
El, I don't know about the science but my arthritic hip and neck ache more in cold and damp weather.
Good to see you, Moonie
Squiggle, I love your wildlife stories. Your garden sounds like a perfect haven for animals and birds.
Goodnight and sweet dreams. Hugs for the night owls.
