A Canadian cyclist, Stephen Lund, has had a similar idea with GPS. This is one is from Victoria in the province of British Columbia.

I've just returned from doing a bit of local shopping (just things like bread and milk). As you say, it's cold particularly with the wind. My local weather site shows a temperature of 8C with the windchill. It's not a lot below the average for March but it's not a day for doing any gardening.

Just back from shopping and posting a letter. Very cold wind blowing now
I was away about an hour or so. Before I went out I put some washing out. Its almost dry now
Nice day for washing if not for shopping

American company has developed a means of injecting people without using needles. They hope to be marketing it in two years time.

Video clip of this is on the BBC website. It seems a very good idea indeed and I hope it materialises.

Moonie, yes a bit like the Star Trek hypospray. Apparently the producers of the original series discovered that the NBC broadcasters would not permit hypodermic needles to be shown so they came up with the hypospray.
