Sorry it was a bit 'now you see me now you don't' I went off to play a game   Yes a busy morning and a quiet afternoon.

I am afraid the mole is striking back but I think if he has definitely decided to 'live in a hole' underneath my lawn I will just have to get used to brushing away his little hills.  I think he was deterred a bit by my windmills but he is a very determined moley and is now shaking his little paw at me.

How was your day you two?

I am definitely not looking forward to Roy's Mum finding out about dear sweet Hayley

My timing is awful but leaving a humungous hug for Yogi and Skylark next time you pop in, have a good soak and a good shower  and a hug for anyone else who pops in, whether they leave a comment or not

I'm feeling a lot better, and have even managed to eat something. (Heinz Cream Of Chicken soup, because that's what my mum used to give me when I was a little girl and was ill.)

Thanks for the kiss, Squiggle.

I agree Heinz Cream of Chicken Soup, so comforting

Me four . And chicken soup is great when you are feeling poorly. Glad to hear you feeling better, Yogi

Another warm sunny day, though there is the risk of heavy showers later on. These may be thundery, but my area seems to be right at the edge of the area most at risk, so we could escape.

Have a great day everyone.

El Loro

Good morning everyone, its looking quite good weatherwise.  Hope it is for everyone else.

I caught the hugest spider this morning it was sat sitting there on my kitchen curtains and I kid you not it had to be 3 and half to 4 inches across.  Luckily I have my trusty spider catcher although I did think it would be too big to go in there.  Luckily it fell to the kitchen worktop and ran up the tube most helpfully.  It is now out in the garden enjoying the sunshine (and I hope contemplating the error of its ways in venturing inside )

The mole(s) have been busy.  There was a big molehill awaiting me this morning.  I brushed it off into the grass but what amazed me was that it had pushed stones out, about 5 or 6 and at least one around 3 inches in length, completely flat like a tile. Wow!

Hope you get to enjoy all the Easter goodies Yogi, hope the sun shines on you and your brother EL, hope you are feeling better every day Joyron, and leaving hugs for Skylark and Summer

 EDIT:  Happy St. George's Day

Have you tried the mothballs yet?

I haven't yet but I am not sure I could really get them down there.  Its hard enough to get the stick of my little windmill in.  Still I have made myself feel a little better by going out there and scraping his little little molehills towards a flower bed and then thumping the ground hard with the spade (they are said not to like this so he is probably taking a couple of aspirin even as I speak )
