Better than housework!

I got my new glasses recently, and Baz got new glasses a couple of days ago - it must be the time for new glasses.

Well I hoovered everywhere downstarts and mopted the kitchen and bathroom floors twice, as I always do

Yes @ the glasses

You were a busy bee.

Yep and now I am worn out

I'm going to get off and read for a while. Goodnight and sweet dreams, Moonie.

Hugs for the night owls.

Good morning everyone

Yogi, the sunshine must have got lost in the post as it's not here - overcast and damp

Ros, and I though my water rates were quite costly

Summer, I hope you are having a great time with your cousins

I hope everyone has a good day

I know EL they are ridiculous here and now Dee Valley is being taken over by severn trent - pay more prob

Good morning everyone

OKish weather here.

Summer, what I read about the emojis didn't suggest that the existing forum ones might be affected.

Ros, it's possible that the combination of the takeover by Servern Trent and Ofwat's price controls could ultimately cut the cost to you.

I hope everyone has a good day

Summer, I hope you've been able to thaw out by now

Workwise, it's the quiet season and I'm currently weeding out old client papers which I'll shred. I have to do the shredding over the next few months as I don't think the council would be happy if I put out 20+ bags of shredded paper. Unshredded paper isn't an option for confidentiality reasons of course.

El Loro

By the way, my local council don't regard what I do as a business as far as rates are concerned. If I was operaing a larger practice from an office in town then I would need to arrange for the paper to be dealt with by a commercial waste paper disposer but I don't produce huge quantities - unshredded it's about 2 foot of paper a year.

El Loro

Good morning everyone.

It rained overnight but the sun is now shining.

I've got some primroses to put in a planter so I'm hoping the sun stays around for the rest of the day.

We've been out to collect Mr Yogi's new glasses and he's happy with them.

That's a lot of shredding, El.

@Former Member How is your mum doing?

Have a good day everyone.

velvet & moonie I hope you've both had a nice start to the week

Hi Sweet

My week had a good start fankoo

I hope yours and Brambles did too

Moonie

Good morning everyone, Summer I don't have any plans for my garden.  The only time I had to plant was when some old shrubs needed replacing.  The lady who used to own the house was a keen gardener and the garden is well planted with shrubs so there is no bare earth for bedding plants etc.  It suits me well, there is usually colour somewhere in the garden and the necessary cutting back and mowing is taken care of by my gardener who comes for a morning every fortnight and I can just enjoy the garden.  What plans do you have for your garden this year?

Yogi I'm glad you got your planted as you wanted it, I love primroses, they grow wild in my garden and very pretty they look too.  Enjoy your day with the little ones.

Enjoy your day everyone
