Moin! It are raining in our area also.

We are exhausted. My Mum will be discharged on Friday afternoon, she was still quite confused last night and I think may need some daily help. The joiner mends her door the same day. I spent yesterday trying to find one who would do it that quickly.

We also have the youngest that day and are supervising work on my son's house.

I may have to cancel the Saturday trip to London.

Garage Joe

Good morning everyone.

We've got some snow and it's breezy.

It's a special little boy's birthday today so I shall be heading over there this evening. Hopefully, the weather will be better by then.

Joe, I'm not surprised you are exhausted. Good to hear your mum is expected to be discharged on Friday, I hope she makes a speedy recovery.

Summer, I meant the series about British celebs who go to live in India for a month, to see if they'd like to retire there.

I have seen the film and enjoyed it, too.

El, that Google Doodle make me smile.

Stay safe and warm everyone and have a good day.

Good morning everyone, very windy here but some blue sky and the clouds are moving fast across the sky.

Yogi did you watch the earlier series about The Real Marigold Hotel?  I think it was on Channel 5. What a coincidence, our special boy's birthday is on Friday.  His daddy took him for a proper grown up haircut yesterday, his hair is very curly like his great gramps, so now it's neat at the sides and back with curls on the top.  He is the cutest wee one and has wonderful manners, enjoy your special boy's birthday party.

Sounds like it's a bit of a difficult time for you GJ, keep going you are doing wonders.

Enjoy your day everyone

Back from a visit to the dental hygienist. When I came out a man in the waiting room started talking to me as he recognised me. He used to work with my father at the local newspaper until my father retired in 1980. I do look a bit like my father. The receptionist then mentioned that her father used to work there as well.

Aww, I hadn't realised their birthdays were so close.

Your special boy sounds absolutely adorable and I know he is much loved.

I saw the previous Real Marigold Hotel series which had Miriam Margolees and Bobby George in it, is that the one you mean? I really enjoyed it.

A real family affair.

As I get older, I look more and more like my mum.

Summer, the weather here has been mild with sunny spells and it's turning colder as well. But it's been too windy to be pleasant. 46 mph gusts recorded at the very local weather site so not like further north. It's still bad enough for there to be damage locally. A telegraph pole fell down in the early morning on a coach which was parked, so no-one in it. That was on the same road as my dentist so there was a small diversion for me. Quite a few reports of trees falling down across the county though a tree at the entrance to the pub close to my church has toppled over on to the road. The photos I've seen of that don't show any vehicles involved.

Good morning everyone

Weather a lot calmer here then yesterday.

Summer, I was in Birmingham when I got caught in the torrential rain. It was the first day of a course and as I hadn't gone to the hotel I had a change of clothes with me.

Squiggle, I hope your special boy has a great birthday today

I hope everyone has a good day

Good morning everyone.

A little of the snow remains and it looks like it froze overnight.

Thank you everyone, BB enjoyed his birthday celebrations.

Squiggle, a very Happy Birthday to your special boy.

Joe, I hope your mum is recovering well.

El, I hope they catch the horrible person who shot George.

Summer, I hope you didn't get too soaked yesterday.

I've got to take MrY to the opticians at lunchtime. He's having drops put in which means he won't be able to drive home. Then in the afternoon, I need to take Keira to the vets for a check up on her ear infection.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone, a lovely bright morning.  I'm glad your special boy had a lovely birthday Yogi and I'm sure our special boy will too today.  Thank you both for your good wishes on his birthday. Sounds like a busy day but I hope all will turn out really well and you can relax tonight knowing that you've had a good day.

Enjoy your day everyone

Aw lovely and what has PB been up to?

Mmm breakfast sounds yummy, I love beans!

Son had taken PB over to my mum and dad's after nursery. He was going to sort a problem with my mum's washing machine and PB wanted to visit them. I know they will have been delighted to see her.

Mr Y loves beans with a cooked breakfast. I like them on toast.
