Good morning everyone

Very cloudy here, the overnight rain seems to have ceased but more later today.

Yogi, I'm glad you had a good day with PB and BB

Summer, killing a swan used to be treason but the law was changed in 1998. The Crown still has rights over certain swans on parts of the River Thames but not elsewhere. Injuring or killing a swan anywhere here is an offience under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. And it's under that act that the poice arrested the suspect.

I hope everyone has a good day

Good morning everyone, lots of clouds but some blue sky   I'm glad they caught the guy who injured the swan and that he is reunited with his mate and his young.  Were they able to save his sight EL do you know?

I finally caught up with the first of the latest series of Great Canal Journeys.  It was interesting to see them on the Matthew, the replica of Henry Cabot's ship, I've seen that sailing past before now.  And when they were on The Balmoral, the paddle steamer, well I saw that going past last summer, first time I've seen it so I reckon Tim & Pru were on it!

Have a great day off Summer and enjoy your day everyone

For those of you who watch Death in Paradise, today's episode is significant. Kris Marshall is going to London on a case in tonight's episode in the first part of a 2 part series. He will be meeting another detective played by Ardal O'Hanlon.

That article, although not a spoiler about the storyline, is a major announcement about the next series. It's certain to get in the media very quickly and you can probably guess what it is.

Series is a how/whodunnit on the Caribbean paradise island of Saint-Marie, hence the title. Closer to the likes of Murder She Wrote with minimal violence, single victim, and a Agatha Christie-like ending with all the suspects brought together.

Good morning everyone, very breezy but quite sunny today.  Storm Doris Day sounds great EL but I bet it won't be.

Have a great visit with your mum and dad Yogi.

Enjoy your day everyone

Thanks Squiggle, they were on good form.

I couldn't resist saying Storm Doris Day

Hopefully tomorrow will be more "Do Not Disturb" rather than "Where Were You When the Lights Wents Out ?"

Yogi, I hope you have a nice time with your parents

I hope so too.

Thanks El.
