Yogi, do you expect to see any birds in your garden besides the more common types?
Summer, I hope you enjoy your leisurely walk
No, just the usual - blackbirds, sparrows, blue tits, great tits, coal tits, robins, starlings, collared doves, dunnocks, magpies etc. I have had a sparrow hawk a couple of times but not today.
Evening Summer, have you had a good day?
I saw some very pretty yellow breasted birds today
hi yogi it's been pleasant thank you, how was yours?
Sorry yogi, my battery is going to run out, I have to go.
Sweetest of dreams

No problem Summer. Goodnight and sweet dreams.
Goodnight and sweet dreams Ros and Velvet.
I did the garden watch survey -third year running -froze for an hour
Night yogi summer velvet and everybody
Good morning everyone
Cloudy here.
Sends Yogi one of these - that would be quite something:
Ros, well done on putting up with the cold
I hope everyone has a good day
Moin Moin! We have a lovely sunny day on which to pick our bikes up and go on a ride.
I also have to book dinner for my son's Birthday and high tea for m'Mum's 92nd!
Does anyone have any experience of hearing aids for themselves or relations. My Mum started the process last Autumn and has been given this September coming!
(Last week she was told she needed a mammogram and that was dated for this Friday!)
She of course is dyed in the wool NHS, trade union and Labour Party and won't have any private treatment.
I am also against queue jumping yet she's 91 and you never know how long we have left. Christmas was spoilt as we found it difficult to communicate in a crowded environment and her neighbour must be vexed at the tellybox volume! We are having to speak loudly on one side.
Any experience anyone? All anecdotes gratefully received!
Good morning all.
A frosty start to the day.
El, only an incredibly cruel person would do something so cruel to that beautiful swan.
Ros, well done to my fellow bird counter.
lol El, thanks for the dodo.
Joe, Baz's husband recently got a hearing aid, so she might be able to advise you.
Have a good day everyone.
GI, I've no experience of hearing aids and my parents never needed them.

Good morning a pleasant day here too
joe my gran had a hearing aid, the department were very helpful and once she got used to them, she did like them. They did freak her out when the battery was low for the first time and it gave out a squealing alarm.
I think the wait for the appointment sounds far too long, perhaps call them to clarify
Good morning everyone, definitely warmer here but loads of grey clouds. I hate cruelty to animals and birds. There was a heartbreaking bit on the local news yesterday about a 4 day old lamb they had called Bounce because of its friendly nature. Some horrible people, they reckon because of the way it was carried out it could be some sort of cult, cut off its ears and tail, really close to the body, poor creature, it died a few days later. Sometimes I hate this cruel world.
I've sent off the last of my clients' 2015/16 tax returns with just over 1 day to spare I had done most of them some time ago but the last client only got around to sending me the info on Saturdat evening.
Afternoon all. I've been to Costco and my freezer is now full.
Squiggle, that's horrific and so sad for the poor lamb.
Well done, El. These last minute clients must be a tad annoying for you.
Yogi, it's the same clients each year who leave it late. I always try to get everything done by today, the 30th to have a day in hand. The 31st tends to be the day when a lot of people try to file their returns which means that the HMRC servers are slower so it takes longer for things to go through.

I thought that might be the case.

I think we all do
That makes me feel so sick poor little lamb, I hate to think of how he must have suffered. I hope there's some sort of justice for him, the culprits should be held accountable. And if they're not caught, I pray that karma will take care of it.
Sweet dreams all, I hope you all sleep soundly

im pleased to see that the police are taking the swan shooting seriously, is it still treason to harm swans?
