Yogi, I have to make a confession. Whenever Social Strata put something on their blog I get sent an email alert. The most recent one was about their new Hoopla logo so I knew about it in advance of it being implemented

Squiggle, I remember that from the Krypyon Factor and I wasn't any more obdervant than you

GJ. I think the council should remove the hardcore over the street control as that control should be accessible. I assume that controls for other houses in the area are also covered.

Good morning everyone, sounds like we all have similar weather this morning, it has rained and now it's dry.  Quite heavy cloud overhead but not black rain clouds, they still look a bit menacing.

I'm with you on the observational front Yogi, do you remember The Krypton Factor, the observation round?  Me and my husband used to concentrate like 2 cats watching a mouse and still missed half of what we were supposed to see

Enjoy your day everyone, especially you Summer, hope your friends are liking your surprises

do remember The Krypton Factor and I was as good as you and your husband at the observational round.

We're off to the hopefully relaxing village school Christmas fayre!

Yesterday after an hour searching we discovered that the stopcock was under the floorboards, had failed and that  the street control was under hardcore! So we put the boiler in live!

Enjoy the Christmas Fayre, Joe.

I'm not sure what the BiB means but it sounds risky.

Good morning a sunny morning emerging here I'm having a wonderful time with my friends, we make ourselves right at home in each other's houes and being with them is as easy as being with family (easier sometimes

they will be setting off sometime late this morning so I'm going to cook them a nice breakfast to set them up for the day. Their little boy says he loves me and wants them to move in I think he likes the Christmas decorations!

Joe i hope today is more relaxing for you, well done on installing that boiler yesterday

i hope the rest of you are enjoying the weekend

Good morning everyone.

A rather damp start to the day up here. Our planned walk round one of the parks is looking less likely.

Enjoy your bike ride, Joe, and I hope it stays sunny for you.

Summer, I am not the least bit surprised that your friend's little boy loves you and wants to move in. Children are very perceptive and recognise a wonderful soul when they meet one.

Squiggle and El, I hope your church services are uplifting and you enjoy a relaxing Sunday.

Thank you Yogi It was the Remembrance service at church today with the local scouts, guides, cubs, brownies and beavers and also the local city councillor and people from the local home for forces veterans who have had mental health problems and/or homeless.

Besides three poppy wreaths, the guides etc had made paper wreaths of hands rather like this:

The wreath of linked hands is a lovely idea.

Good evening I hope you've all had a lovely day, my whole weekend was fabulous and I consider myself a very lucky girl to have such wonderful and loving friends

ive also never seen so many people out for the rememberence services, every memorial I saw today was packed and it was good to see.

That wreath of hands is lovely, and also poignant during these uncertain times we are in.

Yogi you are lovely, thank you

Are they coming for a sleepover?

I dont think so, I'd love the thread but I struggle to commit to the jungle every night. Is there anyone in particular you are looking forward to seeing?

Yes, they are coming on a sleepover

I don't have a favourite, although I'm hoping Larry Lamb will be good - but I have my grrrr figure in Carol Vorderman
