Good morning everyone, beautiful blue sky and wispy clouds this morning - set fair.  I hope it is where everyone else is too.

Yogi I hope you slept better last night.  It's always satisfying having a good clear out so I hope the day goes well.  I hope you and Bramble enjoy your relaxing day Summer.

Enjoy your day everyone

squiggle

Thank you Squiggle and El, I slept much better last night.

lol El, the loft wasn't too bad so I didn't require the breadcrumbs.

Mr Yogi and sons are en route to the tip with the stuff we have decided to throw away. I've got books to take to the charity shop on Monday - unless anyone wants some Val McDermid, Dan Brown or Lillian Harry books?

Hope you got your washing dry, Joe.

Summer, I hope it's not too busy at work.

Ooh yogi-  are you getting the Christmas decorations out of the loft already?!

Not yet - but we did find a Christmas angel I thought I'd accidentally thrown out.

We have an angel for the top of the tree. Must be 50 years old at least

Hope all are having a good weekend

I love decorations that we've had for years. Happy memories attached to them.

We have a santa decoration that was bought for my youngest son when he was a toddler and he still insists on personally hanging it on my tree. After he left home I stupidly thought I could hang it on the tree - and he made me take it off so he could rehang it.

Yogi, you may well be correct.  The answer to my little connections poser is shown in that BBC link.

GJ, I've ordered that GCHQ puzzle book. I'm guessing that your penguins reference is to that book, I do know it's published by Penguins.

I couldn't wait El Loro! I downloaded it as a kindle.

I've completed  the initial work in the Telegraph. I won't say anything else - it would spoil your fun.

Unless it's a Christmas market, that would be ok

 Unfortunately not.

Did I tell you I got a snow globe snowman for PB? It's a colour changing one.

She loves my Christmas snow globe but it's glass so it's not really suitable for kids and I promised I'd find something similar for her. I'll send you a pic tomorrow, with the pic of the elf beaker and Christmas baby cup for BB.

Ooh  can't wait to see pics, they sound wonderful she's going to LOVE the snow globe

I think she'll like it.

I'm going to get off now in case I've got to get up at the crack of dawn.

Goodnight and sweet dreams, Summer

Night owl hug for Ros - I hope you are getting plenty of chill out time now you're on half term

Afternoon all.

A chilly and bright day.

Youngest son had stayed over (his fiancÃĐe was away at a hen weekend and he was having a boy's night in with friends in our village) so he came with us to the market. It's quite a big market and has a mixture of car boot stalls, proper stalls with new items, and food stalls. We managed to pick up a few bargains.

I hope you are all having a relaxing Sunday and Bramble is continuing to make a good recovery from her op.
