You two made me lol
Summer, I'm glad Bramble perked up enough to eat some food. I'm sure she'll soon be back to her old self.
I'm off to watch The Missing. I need to concentrate.
Goodnight and sweet dreams Velvet and Summer.
Night owl hug for Ros. Hope the internet isn't playing up tonight.
Sweet dreams yogi, velvet, Ros & moonie

I hope your marmalade making goes well Marmalade was originally made using quinces rather than oranges. An old recipe on making that:
https://britishfoodhistory.wor...al-quince-marmalade/
Even as an ex chemist I am now able to reveal that Crystal Meth is not as easy to manufacture as Walter White would have us believe.
However I am an expert at marmalade or forage jam. Assuming that Lidl have some of their wax free lemons, then Co-op limes, I cheat and use a can of Marmade as a base. I juice and then shred the other fruit. (Grapefruit renders my medications useless) my friends in Oxford have quince but we don't this far north - yet.
A minimum amount of sugar, sufficient to set, gives a resultant bitter preserved shred preparation.
night yogi summer velvet moons GJ hope Bramble is OK summer internet slightly better thank you
Good morning everyone
Very cloudy here.
GJ, I hope your marmalade day is a success
Summer, I hope Bramble had a comfortable night
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone
It's cloudy up here too, El.
Summer, I hope Bramble had a good night and you managed to sleep too.
Ros, I'm glad the internet seems a bit better.
Joe, good luck with the marmalade.
I didn't know Lidl had unwaxed lemons. I've been thinking of making lemon curd next week (for the first time) so I now know where to get the unwaxed lemons.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone, very cloudy here too EL. I know a little girl who would love to make lemon curd with her Gran Yogi, the stickier the better A certain little boy might just like to join in - licking bowl privileges included.
Poor Bramble, I hope she feels more comfortable soon. Good news about your improved internet Ros.
Enjoy your day everyone
Oh I've had to put it off again. The opposite camp were taking the kids to Turkey in a day or two but the opposite grandpa has just been diagnosed with a serious illness. Cancelled holidays, logistics and lots of planning to do.
Otherwise it's dull and we expect rain. I think it's time to go out on the bikes. I hope it's better for you all!
Good afternoon a busy start here that has now gone quiet. I'm looking forward to beef casserole for lunch
oh joe that's awful news, my heart goes out to you all
bramble is doing well thank you she woke me in the night so I gave her a big cuddle and some medicine, then she went back to sleep. This morning I took her for a teeny tiny walk and she was keen, I was impressed
Thank you El
im going to have a super early night, sweet dreams everyone I hope you've all had a good day
Sad news, sorry to hear that, Joe.
Summer, I'm glad Bramble is doing well. Sleep well tonight.
lol Squiggle, PB would love to get involved with the lemon curd making and I'm sure BB wouldn't mind being our taste tester.

Good morning everyone
Rather foggy here at present, there may be some sunshine later.
Ros, I hope your internet gets sorted out properly very soon.
For those who died at Aberfan 50 years ago today.
Good morning everyone, quite a lot of blue sky this morning. That's terrible news GJ I hope 'opposite' grandpa will make a swift recovery.
Aberfan, just the mention of the name still fills me with horror. Thank goodness I know beyond doubt that each precious little one was immediately taken home by a loving God.
Enjoy your day everyone
I remember the Saturday morning television after the event. Dreadful.

I remember the news broadcast on the day. I'll never forget it.
Good afternoon it's a pleasant & sunny day here. I hope the Aberfen families and community have good weather for the memorial service.
Bramble is doing well, her recovery is going smoothly and she is in good spirits
Summer, I'm glad Bramble is doing well
I see the BBC are having 2 half hour animations this Christmas based on 5 of Roald Dahl's "Revolting Rhymes" which were twists of well known fairy tales,
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-37726518
The tales being Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk and Cinderella. I haven't ever read them but my PB and the Pumpkin story did sort of borrow from Goldilocks & the three bears, Jack & the beanstalk, and Cinderella
Evening all. It's been a busy day.
Thoughts with all those who were affected by the terrible tragedy in Aberfan.
I was only 6 years old when it happened but can remember my parents being so shocked and sad at the terrible events.
Summer, I'm pleased to hear that Bramble is recovering well.
good evening
yogi I hope you've had a good day
I'll look forward to those Christmas animations only 65 sleeps to go!
I did have a good day, thanks Summer - and I got my hair cut at last. *twirls*
Woop woop!!!! And I bet it looks fabulous will PB like it?
I didn't sleep well last night so I'm going to head off to bed.
Goodnight and sweet dreams Summer.

Good morning *early birds*
all these early nights have led me to wake early & bright this morning
What are everyone's weekend plans? After I've finished work, Bramble & I will be having a very lazy weekend
Good morning everyone
Cloidy here and it's possible there might be a shower.
Yogi, I hope you had a good night's sleep
Yogi, when the BBC shows the two Revolting Rhymes, it might be best to record them first, watch them without PB, in order to check that they are suitable for her. The books are recommended for 5+ and the stories do contain endings which aren't the same as the originals.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone.
Weather is chilly and bright.
Summer, I hope you do have a relaxing weekend.
El, I will take your advice and record the Revolting Rhymes and decide whether they are suitable for PB.
We are tidying/clearing the loft today. It isn't too bad so hopefully won't take too long. Middle and youngest sons are coming to help.
Have a good day everyone.
