Good morning everyone, a special for Summer most welcome.  Its brightening up here and the weekend is supposed to be good.  I hope you all have a great day, thinking of you Joyron

I have recently had a mole invading my lawn so I am trying an experiment and yesterday I stuck toy windmills in some of its molehills, I will let you know whether they work or not.  The mole is (supposedly) annoyed by the vibrations, here's hoping.

Squiggle, apparently moles don't like the smell of mothballs, so you could try sticking some of them down the mole holes.

Joyron, hope to hear from you soon.

That's Plan B Yogi

I think I heard it on Gardeners' World, or read it in one of their magazines.

Good luck on your mole moving mission.

Good morning everyone

It's dry, a bit warmer, and although mainly cloudy I can see a bit of blue sky.

Very little rain in the forecast in the next couple of weeks, and Sunday looks as if it will be dry throughout the country. Apart from one place where it will be wet in the later part of the morning, and it's right where I am and could well be raining during our church's Palm Sunday procession which is from the village hall down the road to the church

Fingers crossed that the forecasters have got it wrong.

Good morning squiggle . Yes, our Palm Sunday procession does include palm crosses. The clergy carry palm branches, and everyone else palm crosses. The whole congregation takes part in the procession, apart from those too frail to walk easily - they remain in the church. The service is always the longest service of the year as it starts off with the procession, but then switches to the reading of the Passion - the full length version.
