The council inspector was here at 9-50 

I was shocked 

The outcome was, a new door is to be ordered and fitted

Good morning everyone, we had a lot of rain overnight too EL, it's dry now but lots of rain from tomorrow onwards.

 

Summer that odious woman is trying to get her rich employer to marry her, she is busy trying to get to the bottom of the Ren Dullem mystery at the moment.  I hope Raine gets to go back home (you will know what I mean) but can she - still - that is the question.  I am enjoying it, as I have all her books.  She does get variety into her writing, some authors seem to write virtually the same book over and over but not our Milly.  I am glad you had a lovely day out with friends, enjoying some of the stunning scenery.

 

Moonie I hope your visitor comes sooner rather than later, then, weather permitting, you can visit the cygnets again.  I suppose they are literally spreading their wings and getting used to being more independent.  The description of their diving was eye opening.  I always think we know so little about the lives of the birds who we see every day.

Good news Joe 

It took me 14 mins between leaving the train at KX walking the platform, across the road to st p, going through security, passport checks, and the Eurostar with s couple of mins spare. On my way!

The train was 45 mins so I can claim!

GJ, I'm glad you made it though it was too close

There's been quite a few times where my brother has claimed because of train delays.

I have to say that I never claimed when we owned it! As long as Eurostar put me on the next one without any argument.

GJ, the worst delay for my brother was once when he was travelling back to London from having visited me. He should have got home by 8 pm but because of big problems on the railway line got home some 6-7 hours later.

Yogi, I'm glad you were able to have a good day with PB and BB despite the weather  I didn't like that mosaic house either and found it weird  They could have difficulty in selling it if they wanted to.
