Good morning everyone, it's a nice morning but going to be very warm later on.  I heard thunder rumbling around yesterday and it seemed to have affected my router as I had to re-start it but I don't think the storm got too close.

I am glad your client meeting went well EL and I hope your one this morning does as well.

Enjoy your day everyone

Squiggle, my client meeting went OK. He was telling me things about his personal life which could have come out of a soap opera. They have little relevance to the work I do for his tax return and I'm not going to start gossiping about them.

Moonie, your weather is much the same here and like you it could get up to 27.

Hi El

I just checked the temperature here and it was 26 degree

27 degrees by 17.00 hours or 5 pm to me and I

Good morning everyone

Quite foggy here. Cool too. We are supposed to be having our last *decent* day for a while, today

I hope so because I have a boat load of washing to dry

I think the whole of the road slips washing into my washing basket when I am not looking

Have a great day friends

My local website is showing 98% humidity, UV index 0.5, cloud base 196 ft, and 0 mph wind speed all day so far so zero sign that the fog is lifting.

A photo taken today on the local website of a major roundabout not far from me to show what it's like. I'm glad I went out yesterday rather than today.

It should shift as there's a storm coming so the potential for flash flooding, thunder and lightning laster today and tomorrow morning though I'm not expecting it to be dreadful here, it's the south east where there could be more problems in the rush hour tomorrow morning (looking at the lastest Met Office predicitions).

Moonie, it's a Business questions slot 10.30-11.30 on Parliament and although the MPs were texting during the Transport questions part of that slot, we don't know if those MPs were there for questions which would be raised later. They've now moved on to questions about legalising cannabis for medicial use.

El, I still don't think MP's should be texting in the Mother of Parliament, full stop.
It's just my personal opinion

I still have it on btw.

Though I do find it quiet taxing at times

Joe, have a safe journey

GJ, so you won't get a chance to look at The Shambles

I love those old places. Though that one looks like its gonna collapse inwards

Afternoon all, I hope everyone is well?

We had a really lovely time in London. The weather was great, the people were friendly and the Lion King was fabulous!

I've picked up Keira from my mum and dad's - she'd been thoroughly spoilt.

I've been grocery shopping and am in the midst of tackling the washing.

Now waiting on middle son popping in for a cuppa and chat.

Catch up later.

There must be millions of people who have been at St Pancras station (for Eurostar for instance) and have no idea as to who St Pancras was.

He was a Roman citizen who converted to Christanity and was beheaded for his faith at the young age of 14 around 304 AD. The name is Greek and means "the one that holds everything".

BBC article about Sinky, a calf stuck in a hole for 9 days but found and is recovering.

The Gloucester cow is quite a rare breed nowadays but the milk was the base of Double Gloucester cheese and the lesser known Single Gloucester cheese. The dairy farmer who owns Sinky makes genuine Single and Double Gloucester cheese.

The milk from the Gloucester cow is used by a different dairy producer to make the Stinking Bishop cheese, known for being particularly pungent. It shot to fame thanks to Wallace & Gromit in the Curse of the Were rabbit film where it's used to revive Wallace from the dead.

Glad the calf is recovering.

I love Wallace and Gromit.
