I hadn't heard anything about it until I was told by someone who took part. On Saturday, there was a re-enactment of the coronation of Henry III in Gloucester Cathedral, which was 800 years ago, That was the last time a coronation took place outside London.

Moin! Sunny start here and we expect a few mild days.
I need to plant a few bulbs and tidy up the garden a bit. We're going to Lille shortly.

How thoughtful Summer thank you, lucky we had the Buddies mini freezer to keep the ice lollies cold until we all collected one There is a hole in the grey cloud and I can see blue sky and fluffy clouds through it, may be the grey ones will all blow away.
Enjoy your trip to Lille GJ - I haven't a scooby where that is but I suspect Belgium - waits to be informed.

Squiggle, Lille is one of those places my brother has been to over the years. It's actually in France, right on the border with Belgium. There is a strong Flemish influence so it's easy to think of Lille as being in Belgium.
I did post a couple of my brother's holiday photos back in 2013 - there had been a lot of snow as seen in those including the upside-down house.

Rather warm here - the work continues.
We don't go to Lille until Thursday. I may have given the impression it was sooner. It's true that there is a huge Belgian influence in this area. A lot of bars brew their own beer. There is an interesting mix of food and lots of cycling. Also Charles de Gaulle birthplace museum!
Right! I'm going into the garden!

It's turned very dark here with spots of rain and there's the sound of thunder a few miles away with flashes of lighning. On the Met site, it looks as if places to the west of my area are in for torrential rain with some places over 40 miles away getting over 32mm an hour over the next couple of hours.

It's getting very dark here now and when or if the thunderstorm does come it will be stonker
I'm a tad burnt even with cream. I did as much as I could but was beaten back by wasps at the far end of the garden.
Moonie, that was the weather I was getting but it seems to have calmed down now and isn't too bad.
GJ, well done even if you got sunburnt (no chance of that here today) and assaulted by the wasps.
I've a client coming to see me in the next few minutes so I hope you all have a good evening.
