Did you see CBB Summer, they had a Christmas theme tonight.

I've got PB and BB tomorrow and Tuesday so I probably won't be around until Wednesday.

Yes I did see it yogi I loved the festiveness! I'm obsessed with a craft project that I'm working on, so I spent most of CBB sorting, cutting & stitching

Good morning everyone, cloudy here too but it looks like it wants to rain so I've put the recycling box out before it can get started.

Yogi I hope you have an enjoyable couple of days - I know you will - what a blessing they are.  I picked up my grandson and the wee one yesterday to run them home (no buses on a Sunday down here) and to see the joy on my daughter's face as she held the bonny wee lad brings joy to my heart every time I think about it.  The little one is going to be a curly top like his Great Gramps!

Large barn fire at a farm not far from the client I was at a few days ago. Barn is full of hay (clearly from harvesting last week), tractors, cars, combine harvesters and other things. I don't think my client is affected though. Apparently the smoke can be seen from the city centre though I can't see it,

Latest news on the Cheltenham Banksy is that it is looking probable that it was destroyed by vandals who used a hammer drill on it and took bits of it away. The Cheltenham MP has called for an urgent inquiry.

From time to time I get spam emails from one client in particular. The first part of the email address is his but the bit after the @ isn't. The spam emails just consist of a hyperlink and obviously I don't click on that.

The bit after the @ in the email I've just had from him is rather surprising. It's from the Greek atomic energy commission

Sunny and warm here today.

Summer, the fire was very destructive at that barn. The contents were destroyed. The farmer had been there first thing in the morning when all seemed fine then a neighbour rang him to say "FIRE". The farmer and neighbour were able to lead the cattle to safety but the hales, tractors and combine harvesters were destroyed. He has one tractor left.

There was talk on the radio news this morning about a competition to choose the next voice for the speaking clock, But the people talking couldn't remember what the phone number was. It's been a long time since I used the speaking clock but I can remember the number.

Good morning a grey, damp start here but that's nothing compared to what that poor farmer is dealing with today. That's truly devasting

Summer, the farmer will be taking a few days to decide how to carry on. His main concern is how to feed the cattle in the winter months. I assume he has insurance and if he's with the NFU Mutual they will have people used to helping farmers in times like this.

Good morning everyone, not too bad a morning, some blue sky.  It is devastating for that farmer, thank goodness he has time to get it sorted whilst his cattle can still graze.  It's going to be a long road to getting back to where he was though.

I think the farmer has family who are in the same line of work who live very close to him.

It's lovely when the locals pull together to help out, I would happily share my feed for the cattle if I were one of them

Someone in Gloucestershire has had their car stolen and the police have asked for people to report it if they see it.

It's a classic silver Ferrari 550, registration 4 DCH. It's thought to be one of only four made and is worth around £400k.

last night I met a friend for tea, after my yoga class, after walking Bramble, after work... it was good fun though. 

Today it's my turn for child minding, my friend's daughter is coming over to do crafts & make pancakes, while I wait in for the delivery of my new mattress!!!!  

then another friend is coming over to watch the bake off later

Squiggle, it was very humid up here last night too, and Mr Yogi really feels the heat more than most, so we also had to keep the ceiling fan on.

Squiggle, I hope you have a better night tonight as it should be cooler. I had an OKish night. Cold weather I have a thickish duvet, warm weather I have a thin duvet, and when it's like last night I put the duvet to one side and just have a sheet over me.

Yogi, I would hope the local farmers will rally round and help him. My client's property is quite close by but it wouldn't be appropriate for me to ask him if he's helping.

Possibly the largest meerkat in my area:

A raffle was held to raise money for the charity Winston's Wish (which is local but has become national). The winner decided to donate it to the local hospital who will re-raffle it to raise money for the children's ward.
