Quite cloudy here at present. It's forecast to be dry today but tomorrow in my area is a near write-off with rain forecast for most of the day.

Good morning a busy day yesterday ended in an unexpected babysitting favour, followed by attending a surprise party and learning a lot about Pokemon

Moin! Speaking of stamps, I was quite excited to receive several sets of Pink Floyd new issues and postcards, subsequently redistributed throughout Europe to m'friends.
My remaining trips sur le continent are now booked. Otherwise my son spent three hours in A&E with a football injury leading to all sorts of grandchild juggling! He should be OK today.
Looks like another nice day-enjoy it everyone!

Cathy Come Home gets shown on BBC4 this evening almost 50 years after it was first shown in November 1966 on the BBC. Bleak drama about homelessness, and raised public awareness about this with 12 million people watching with Shelter being formed in the same year. Not easy to watch.
My son seems fine thank you! He plays football and ended up with a huge contusion, as Victoria Wood would say, in all the colours of the speculum, from knee to foot.
His problem was that he could not remember hurting himself and it became progressively worse from Thursday to last night.
It's all overcast now!
Good evening we've walked 11 miles, had a nice steak and nearly fell asleep in the bath! But we've had a wonderful time doing it. Bramble has been an angel all day 
squiggle, bramble loves the boys we babysat and one gave her a tennis ball so she went crackers. They're a lovely family and they have my blessing to come pick up Bramble any time they want to take her out

Moin! It looks like another sunny day here. I have to pick up my new varifocals and then we may have a day out in Whitby. We have other more important tasks to perform but it was such a hectic weekend that we need to relax!

The sun is shining so I am off out with Mr Yogi.
Thanks everyone, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my son can fix my laptop this week. If not, Mr Yogi has a friend who is a whizz with computers so he will look at it for me. Luckily, I have all my photos saved to an external hard drive, and there is nothing else of importance on it.

Good morning everyone, very overcast here, I think we're in for some rain. What a nuisance Yogi I hope your son can sort out your laptop, or failing that the computer whiz. Mine was completely re-built by my local computer guy when it died. I tried that apple crumble cake yesterday EL, very delicious but a little heavy did you find?
