Good for him

He says he may remind me of his toil, whenever he asks for a lift.

I had wondered if there was some ulterior motive

Good morning everyone, sorry we missed you Ros.  Its another beautiful morning and I am really enjoying this sunny spell.  Thinking of you Joyron and hope you are feeling better day by day and managing to get about a bit now.  Off to church soon, its such a beautiful day I am looking forward to the drive, catch you later

Skylark, I rarely sit outside, as my neighbour's teenage son spends all day (except when he's at school) continuously bouncing a basketball.

I didn't mind so much when he was too small to go to the park on his own, but he's still doing it, aged 16.

Sometimes he has mates round and they are out there until 10-11pm - bounce, bounce, bounce, grrrrrrrrrrr. The other neighbours nearby are heartily sick of it, too.

And don't get me started on the number of times he climbs over my fence to retrieve his blooming basketball.

I do agree about inconsiderate neighbours, its such a beautiful day too, some people are so selfish.

I have been asked to do a quiz for our Ladies on Thursday group so I thank goodness for the internet, I would be lost without it.  My Order of Service has met with approval, the bride was so eager to see it today and was pleased.  She is an exiled Scot you may be interested Yogi and Skylark, and she is having Amazing Grace by hopefully Spirit of the Glen when she leaves the church with her new husband.

Glad the bride-to-be appreciated all your hard work, Squiggle.

It's nice that she has added a reminder of Scotland to her wedding.

When I got married, I had tartan favours on the cake, but I also had white roses to represent my English hubby.

She is a little sweetheart Yogi, came to Devon to get away from her husband who beat her.  Raised her son on her own and then met a sweet guy down here.  She still has utterly no self confidence, bless her.  I hope they have the loveliest day.

Hi Ros I'm just signing off but its nice to coincide with you, I got waylaid by brisket's wonderful country music thread
