Evening all
Squiggle and Summer, your dreams are much better than any of my recent ones.
One of my favourite films is Hitchcock's Rear Window.
I had a nice day out with my friend - we managed to miss the showers.
Hope you've all had a good day?

Its been a good day thank you yogi, how's the BB finale shaping up? And did you go to a garden centre with your friend?
Evening Summer.
We did fit in a visit to a garden centre.
Have you had a good day?
I thought you might! Was there lots of pretty things?
Mine's been good thank you I've chased bramble around the bedroom a few times and she got so excited that she nearly took off like a rocket, then ran downstairs and stayed there

Goodnight and sweet dreams, Summer.
Goodnight and sweet dreams, everyone.
Good morning everyone
Cloudy here and showers forecast by evening.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning, hot & sunny here this morning
I've got a lot of errands to run this morning so I'm going to go to an early yoga class and then get them all done, and hope to be back with you this afternoon
have a lovely day everyone
Good morning everyone, lots of clouds this morning but not too dull. I hope the yoga class goes well and all the bits and bobs you have to do Summer. I am glad you and your friend had a good day Yogi.
I'm off to get some more paint, we've run out, the colour looks lovely on - another Valspar colour - I am very pleased with their paint. Then I shall pop into M&S - hoping for some cake - I shall waft some around in the hope that that will tempt Moonie back.
Enjoy your day everyone
Moin! Cloudy here too. We had a lie in - yesterday was spent with the youngest, we are shattered.
Valspar is great paint! Any colour, any shade!
In July's edition of my church magazine is this:
Scintillate, scintillate, globule ouranific,
Fain would I fathom thy nature specific.
Loftily poised in ether capacious,
Strongly resembling a gem carbonaceous.
The the victim of hospiceless peregrination
Gratefully hails thy minute coruscation.
He could not determine his journey's direction
But for thy bright scintillating protection.
When torrid Phoebus refuses his presence
And ceases to glow with fierce incandescence,
Then you illumine the regions supernal,
Scintillate, scintillate, semper nocturnal!
(ouranific means heavenly or celestial and Pheobus is another word for the Sun)
It's a version of Twinkle, twinkle using longer words.
I think I prefer the original EL Wafts Apple Crumble Cake and Chocolate Eclairs around to tempt Moonie - gift boxes
Happy 200th birthday to Chepstow Bridge a couple of days ago.

It goes over the Wye at Chepstow and the castle can be seen if you are on the bridge. It's traffic light controlled as it's only wide enough for a single lane.

Good thinking, Squiggle.
Afternoon all.
I've had a busy morning but I'm now chilling with a cuppa.
I hope everyone is having a good day.

Interesting El but I agree with Squiggle, I think I prefer the original.

As do I, and also Lewis Carroll's version in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland:
Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!
How I wonder what you're at!
Up above the world you fly,
Like a tea tray in the sky.
Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!
How I wonder what you're at!
Squiggle, I hope you like the apple crumble cake as much as I did
Thanks EL, it looks delicious.

But 800 kg of rice is rather a lot. Average amount of uncooked basmati rice is about 75 grams - so that;s around 10,666 helpings.
He must like his curries
Evening all.
I'm in the BB thread for the final.
*night owls* and *busy bees* my errands ran away with themselves, I did lots of housework, a long walk and then painted some of my other fence im going to bed now
sweet dreams to you all
yogi, I hope the final is good
squiggle, I'm going to dream of cake tonight now I've read your post! I hope you've thoroughly enjoyed yours
el, that bridge is beautiful
I didn't get the winner I wanted but I got the next best thing.
Goodnight and sweet dreams, everyone.
Good morning everyone
Cloudy here and there's been some rain, forecast to be sunnier this afternoon and possible heavy showers.
I had one of those Virgin emails this morning saying that because payment had failed I will be cut off on Friday unless I sort this out and click on the link in the email. I've deleted it so I won't be able to get on here as from Friday. At least that's what the scammers wanted me to think. Although the link appeared to be to the real Virgin site, hovering over it showed that the address I would have been sent to had nothing to do with them. It was a site based in Malaysia.
I hope everyone has a good day
Oh no El! You had better pay it because we don't want to be without you on here!
good morning all
How did you all sleep?
I'm at work today, and have just bought the new hello mag which has a very lovely collection of new pics of our lovely Prince George
Summer, I had already seen that my Virgin bill had gone through my bank on the normal day this month and I remembered getting a similar email some time ago. Virgin have a site where they list phishing emails sent in their name and there seems to have been quite a few variants of what I got having been sent this month.

Summer, 4 official photos of Prince George were recently released on his 3rd birthday. They may be the same as those in your mag but a link to them for anyone who doesn't get Hello.

Good morning everyone, lucky you were on the ball EL. I always send phishing emails off to the spoof section of the firm involved so they can keep an eye on what the crooks are up to.
I saw the pictures in the paper, and I am not at all biased but (and I am sure Yogi would agree ) cute! but not as cute as our wee ones
Enjoy your day everyone
Squiggle, I would have done as you and reported the email but it was too similar to the ones they were already aware of.
I did get one of those Windows support scam phone calls last week. He tried to convince me that the line shown at the end of the ASSOC command screen was my computer ID but I knew that it's the same on every Windows computer (certainly up to Windows 7). It's a known trick played by scammers and proves that they are trying to con you as no legitimate support person would ever use that.
Good morning everyone
Another flying visit to let know all is well with me. I promise I will be back soon
We have finally had rain this morning though the sun is out now
Have a lovely day everyone
Moonie, I'm glad is all well with you and hope you are back with us soon
Lovely to see you Moonie come back soon, we miss you
El, those are the pics he's lovely and growing up so fast!
I'm pleased you could report that email
squiggle are you having a nice day?
Yogi I hope yours is going smoothly
Hi Moonie, I hope you will be back with us soon Not too bad Summer thank you, the weather has cheered up and it's quite sunny now, how is your day going?

I think it's for those people who want their lighting turned on or off when they are out and have an app to use to transmit a signal back to their house to do that. Similar to having your oven turned on before you get home so you send a signal via your phone to home to do that so by the time you get home the oven is heated up.
Oh heck El your poor client, was he duped into this scheme or did he not think to ask your advise first?!
Leaving gorgeous night owl hugs for you all
