good afternoon and the waving smiley is one of my favourites Moonie

oh squiggle, my book was lovely! I can't wait to pass it on.. It's called Summer at the Lake by Erica James, I loved it from start to finish. It's the first of hers that I've read and I will definitely look for more, she's up there with Carole Matthews & Millie Johnson

Hi Sweet

I hope your day goes well

Moonie, your internet browser might have had a momentary wobble so the smileys didn't show as normal. The very first one is unchanged as the static ordinary smiley

I was using Safari on my iPad and Google Chrome on my laptop and getting the same on both

It has been okay since I first posted about it

As you say, some kind of wobble. I wonder if the Jupiter probe has anything to do with it?

*thinks, I feel a conspiracy theory coming on*

Moonie

Moonie, I doubt if the Jupiter probe would have had any direct effect unless there was a conflict between its radio signals and your computer signals. Not very likely.

Jupiter does have a gravity about 2.5 time that on Earth. As it has the strongest gravity of the planets it does have an effect on the other planets. Some scientists think that it may eventually lead to Mercury crashing into the sun, leaving the solar system, crash into Venus, or crash into Earth. Before you panic, that's unlikely to happen for at least 5 bilion years.

Could Jupiter's gravity have caused your computer wobble? Extremely unlikely.

I'm trying one of M&S's Bramley Apple Crumble cake this week. It's got some buttercream and an oat based crumble. It's described as new and I think it is different from ones they've had before, last year they had a apple crumble loaf cake but that had no butter cream.

It's rather nice and you may want to look out for it as it has been rumoured that some of you like cake (It's not the Bramley Apple & Cinnamon crumblecake which is what you'll see from Google searches, that's from a few years ago).

Summer, Big Brother was dreadful - worse than usual. I'm convinced this will be the last civilian BB.

Your pancakes sound yummy!

I had a lovely couple of days with PB, and got to see BB too.

However, I am shattered and off to bed now.

Goodnight and sweet dreams.

Yogi, no wonder you are shattered watching BIg Brother

Awww glad you had a nice time with PB and some time with BB too

Good morning everyone

Fairly sunny here at present but forecast to cloud over.

Summer, that's a yummy tea

Yogi, I'm glad you had a good time with PB and some time with BB

A visit to the dental hygienist and a client meeting this morning, then the funeral service for the woman who died as a result of her fall at an airport in Spain so I'm out for quite a lot of the day.

I hope everyone has a good day

Good morning everyone, what a nuisance Summer, still I hope you have a lovely day off.  Sounds like a busy day EL, hope all goes well, that cake sounds delicious and I will have to try and remember to look for it next time I'm in M&S.  Yogi I hope you slept well and are recovered from the sleepover, being a gran sure keeps you fit!

Enjoy your day everyone

squiggle

Thanks Summer and Squiggle

That's the dental visit done Next stop, the client.

Summer, that's a pity but I hope the rest of your day off is good

Squiggle, I hope that cake isn't one of those which just gets sold in the larger M&S stores as it's a nice one. The size of the box is similar to their lemon drizzle round cake and it's a taste of Britain one (such as the rhubard and custard one and the blackcurrant one though a crumble topping rather than a creamy one like those).

Good luck at the service El, I hope it's a nice send off.

I've cut the grass and made friends with the builder next door he apologised for the noise and gave me his card in case their work causes me any problems (I dare say to make contact in case I ever need any work done). But he was so good about everything that I let him use my wifi because his phone signal is so bad that he has to drive down the street to make online supplies orders

meanwhile, my laundry is out, we've done a lovely walk and I've even glued eyes on my gingerbread men Xmas cards while my lunch was in the oven!

Now im relaxing for the afternoon Wimbledon is rather exciting today

~Sparkling Summer~

I'm back from the funeral service which was an appropriate send off for my friend,

Well done Moonie and Summer with your mowing Summer, I've had people come to see me, tried to get a phone signal while here and had difficulty so they use my phone. I see you are getting on with your Christmas preparations (Christmas today, yesterday pancakes ).
