Squiggle, it's not something I would watch either. I thought it strange that within a few hours of your post, ITV would announce it.

You don't think they are watching me do you?

Are there any white transist vans parked outside your house?

No!  and they would stand out a bit if they did, it's a dead end here

Thank goodness I keep wellies and an umbrella at work- we certainly needed it this lunchtime! on the plus side, the rain sounded wonderful and I splashed in puddles

yogi i'm glad you've got everything done and I hope your afternoon is slow paced

Hi Sweet

I can just imagine you dancing in your wellies

Pleased you car is sorted

Yogi, you must be quicker with the sun pinning next time it appears

I think it's safer with taping it rather than pinning as a pin could burst it

Would you two sun catchers like to come up here and capture it for me!

Good morning everyone

Cloudy here and the rain is forecast to arrive mid morning.

Apparently Microsoft will be amending its Windows 10 upgrade popup on Windows 7 and 8 devices following numerous complaints so that there's less risk of an automatic upgrade done unintentionally.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-36657890
This change is supposed to be rolled out over the next week,

Clicking the red box will then cease to be the much criticised approach by Windows where it was being taken as agreeing to upgrade. Instead it will be just to close the popup box and won't appear again for a few days rather than to go ahead.

I hope everyone has a good day

Yogi, I hope you get your call soon so that you can plan your day

The problem for my computer re Windows 10 is that the C drive is a small but fast SSD drive which tends to get fuller over a period of time with Windows stuff. I always have to do regular disk cleanups and have had to disable the hibernate function to free up some space. Although my computer would tolerate an upgrade to Windows 10, if there were any problems, trying to roll back to Windows 7 is likely to be very problematical.

Although Windows 10 includes the Internet Explorer browser, its default is the replacement Edge one. I read that Microsoft intend to drop the Internet Explorer from Windows 10. Although I don't use IE much, my main accounts and tax software requires IE. The developer will have to change that eventually but it hasn't yet done so.

I was wondering who would come up with Monty
You may need to avoid visiting Thame in Oxfordshire. Yesterday the town council decided to bring back stocks there. Although they say they won't be throwing rotten fruit and veg, they could change their minds.

Hi El

I am nothing if not predictable

I think the stocks would currently be red hot with MP's waiting to get their free fruit and veg

Good afternoon I hope you boys are both having a good day.

I've just had the drenching of my life! The rain I can cope with, but that combined with the soaking wet overgrowth that got my jeans, then socks, then boots utterly soaked meant that I may as well have jumped in the river! The funny things were when I got home, my hands were so stiff that I could barely get the key in my door, so imagine how hard it was trying to get my wet socks & jeans off

a hot bath sooner made it all better, and I'm now cosy in my onesie and waiting for a hot meal to cook (thank goodness for m&s frozen meals!)

i just heard the news about those missing children, I hope they are found safe & well very soon.

I hope yogi got the call she was hoping for

Our predicted rain hasn't shown up yet but glad to hear those who have been drenched have been fully rinsed now

Yogi, glad you got your call. Hope you have a great day tomorrow

I've just been called up to be the Shadow Scottish Cultural Secretary so I might not back for some time.

I'm sure you're the best man for the job.
