For anyone who wants to listen to something really different, Radio 3 had a programme in the early morning called Inspired by Birds. It's part birdsong and part music inspired by birdsong.

~Sweet Summer~ posted:Good morning the sun is actually shining here today! I've already taken bramble for a short walk, cut the grass and hung some washing out. I've cancelled all plans today and am moving at a slow & gentle pace I'm now enjoying a drink & some cherries while the birds sing and bramble lays on the patio.
Yogi, you never offend or us nor we find you insensitive. I'm sure I speak for us all when I say that I hope you have a lovely day with your dad, and with your sons & mr yogi as well as the grandchildren. We are all very happy that you are able to do so.
For the rest of us, I will think of you all when I light a candle for my dad later and am thankful for everyone in my life who is alive, and that I love
Hi Sweet
I'm glad you and Bramble hand a nice walk. You have been busy apart from that too
Enjoy your drink
I just watched a film with a young(ish) Michael Kitchen (Foyle's War). It was called Enchanted April and I really recommend it. I bought it from Amazon on DVD so I know it's readily available. I think everyone would enjoy it
Squiggle, I think I may have seen Enchanted April many years ago. It's a BBC produced film and I think it was shown on the BBC. It's a good film and a strong cast.
Yes that's the one EL, I had never seen it and it's so good I will watch it again.
The sun has gone in but it's still dry
It's breezy so my washing should dry though we are promised rain later
I love that smiley

Except it hasn't arrived yet
When the rain does arrive, you should be holding on to the lampost with your right hand and brolly in your left to be like Gene Kelly
Evening everyone and thank you.
I've had a busy day but all good.
El, I'll check out that birdsong link later, it sounds like something I would enjoy.
Summer, I'm glad you've had a relaxing day.
Will be in the BB thread
Good evening all thank goodness I did my gardening chores & laundry early because the sun only lasted a few hours and then the heavens opened up! I wasn't impressed with Bramble waking me early on our day off but with hindsight, it was a blessing.
We've had a relaxing afternoon & evening and I feel well rested
moonie, I hope your umbrella & wellies were to hand doesn't it sound wonderful has there been football on today?
as does birdsong- which I sometimes play on my relax melodies app. The sounds of the beach, rain, campfire & owls or crickets are also fabulous. It's fun trying the different combinations too

I hope everyone has a good day
El Loro posted 2/12/2014:Summer, the northerly wind is making it feel quite cold here. There's quite a lot of cloud but not as dark as yesterday. I'm going to a funeral service later this morning of someone at my church who died suddenly from a brain hemorrhage. Only 64. I also knew her 2 daughters who used to be servers at the church.
I heard yesterday that one of the daughters has died as a result of a fall at an airport in Spain

Poor family, that's so sad.
Good morning everyone.
I've got stuff going on today and tomorrow, so I won't be around until tomorrow night.
Have a good couple of days.
Morning everyone
It's cool, wet and breezy here. Back to normal after several days of moderate weather. Outside chores and shopping will have to wait until it at least stops raining
I hope the weather is better where you are. Have a great day no matter what it throws at you
Good morning Moonie The weather here is much the same as yours though the rain is expected to peter out by the early afternoon.
Good morning everyone, drizzly steady rain here and has been for hours. What an awful tragedy EL. Yogi I look forward to you being back in the forum again Sunshine promised for the weekend!
Enjoy your day everyone

Hi El

i tried to come back after my post this morning but the site just wouldn't reload. This evening has been eventful- I finished work late, popped by a friends house to wish her son a happy birthday (and eat cake!), ended up dog sitting for a different friend and watched the best episode of game of thrones to date.
I hope you've all had a good day, and that the site is loading for you each
moonie, I hope the football was good
