Thanks again EL, no luck there. I tried searching my browsing history on Amazon but I think it only brings up things I searched for on the laptop. I think it will just remain a mystery Moonie I don't even understand what Linux is so you must be streets ahead of me
Squiggle, Linux is an operating system as is Windows and Apple OS. It's popular amongst its users, but unless youv'e got technical support I would stick with Windows or Apple OS.

What El, says squiggle
I understand that Android mobile phones are based on a version of Linux
I haven't used Windows since Vista. I wouldn't touch it with the proverbial barge pole tbh. But on the other hand, I know many people who feel exactly the same about the Linux OS.
It's all a matter of personal choice squiggle
I think I'll stick with what I know. I hope you enjoy your new version of Linux though Moonie.

It's always better to stick with what you know squiggle
I don't think "enjoy" is quite the right word but I shall persevere
I hope you are having a lovely Saturday
Afternoon all.
The sun is shining.
Squiggle, what a shame you can't find that book again. Can you remember what you were looking at before that particular book, as sometimes there are suggestions of other books you might like and perhaps a link to the book you can't find. Does that make sense, I know what I mean?
I saw PB and BB this morning. It was PB's first ballet display - off the scale on the cuteness factor.
Summer, I hope you are on the mend, and work isn't too busy when you aren't feeling 100%
Moonie, El and Velvet, I hope you are having a good weekend.

Have you been watching footie? Mr Yogi and middle son have been flitting between footie and Grand Prix qualifiers, and now they are on Storage Wars.

Shame about ROI

Sounds like your day has been sporting in a way you wouldn't probably have want ed then Yogi?
Thanks Yogi, I have tried every which way that I can think of, and some I didn't think of that EL suggested but it refuses to pop up, never mind it will probably bob up again one day. I bet there was a lump in your throat when you watched PB doing her ballet - doesn't seem 5 minutes ago she was a baby.
Good evening all aw thank you work was gentle on me today I'm now relaxing with Bramble curled up next to me.
Aw how cute, PB ballerina I love it!!!!!
Squiggle, I bet that book will reappear when you have stopped searching for it
moonie I hope you've enjoyed the days sporting events and El, I hope your day has been relaxing

Aww, I hope you do stumble accross the book again.
You are so right, it seems no time since she was BB's age. I admit to having a tear in my eye, watching her doing her ballet.

Do you have plans for tomorrow or are you going to take things easy for a change?

Evening Moonie.
My day has been good (apart from Mr Y and middle son's telly choices).
Enjoy your footie.
I'm planning an easy, restful day for a change Yogi
I hope you got some lovely photos of little ballerina?

That's good, it's time you had a relaxing day.
I had to sneakily take some pics as PB is still going through her "no pictures, Granny!" phase. I long for the days when she used to be a right little poser for the camera.
Aw bless, I can't wait for her to grow out of that phase then a ballerina pic will be timeless
are you doing much tomorrow?

I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone, very cloudy here today. Yogi have a great visit with your Dad and I hope Mr Yogi has a lovely Father's Day. Hugs for all those who can no longer send a card or visit their Dads
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Weather is dry atm.
Mr Yogi is at an early morning market with middle son and I'm expecting other two sons to visit at some point later today, so I am off to visit my dad this morning.
After I posted about Father's Day last night, I realised I am the only one in the thread who is lucky enough to still have their dad with them, so I apologise if I was insensitive.
Have a good day everyone.
No of course you're not being insensitive Yogi, perish the thought. I am sure we are all so pleased that you and your Dad can be together today to share the love you have for each other. My memories of my wonderful Dad are soft in my mind today, I loved him, I miss him but my thoughts of him are warm and comforting.

The weather here has started off with sunshine
Yogi, you are in no way or will ever be insensitive
I hope you enjoy your visit with your mum and dad
It seems like you have the whole Yogi clan coming today. Good luck
Have a happy Sunday everyone
No doubt I shall be here on and off throughout the day
Toodles for now
Good morning the sun is actually shining here today! I've already taken bramble for a short walk, cut the grass and hung some washing out. I've cancelled all plans today and am moving at a slow & gentle pace I'm now enjoying a drink & some cherries while the birds sing and bramble lays on the patio.
Yogi, you never offend or us nor we find you insensitive. I'm sure I speak for us all when I say that I hope you have a lovely day with your dad, and with your sons & mr yogi as well as the grandchildren. We are all very happy that you are able to do so.
For the rest of us, I will think of you all when I light a candle for my dad later and am thankful for everyone in my life who is alive, and that I love
Yogi, as everyone else says, there's no way in which you are insensitive
Our woman curate was ordained as a priest yesterday and presided over her first communion this morning, (In the C of E, people are first ordained as a deacon, and generally after the first year are ordained as a priest). Yesterday's ordination was a piece of history in the C of E as it was the first time in England that a woman bishop has presided over an ordination. Although Bishop Rachel was not the first woman bishop in the C of E, the first two were what are called suffragan bishops who are subordinate to a full bishop, and she is the first full bishop,.
I know there are many who can't accept woman priests or women bishops and I respect their views.
By a strange coincidence considering that the bible readings in the C of E and the Roman Catholic churches are set years in advance, part of the readings for today comes from Galatians 3. This includes the following verses:
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
