Good morning everyone

Anither cloudy day with the potential for heavy showers here though this should be the last day of bad weather for the time being.

Summer, you must be pleased that your decorating was done earlier than expected

I hope my working day will be shorter today than yesterday - a 12 hour day though that did include meal breaks - I had to see a client yesterday evening which is why the day was so long and I had to have an early tea beforehand.

I hope everyone has a good day

Good morning everyone, my goodness that was a long working day EL.  We had some much needed rain overnight so the garden has had a good soaking.  I am glad the sun is shining for your day in the garden Yogi - Afternoon Tea at the Sunflower Cafe was a great read wasn't it - the characters were so real.

What I read next depends on my mood Summer, I am reading a Sophie Kinsella at the moment but that moment of decision when choosing a new book can be tricky

I am glad everyone's decorating is going so well and everyone is pleased with the results.

Enjoy your day everyone

On the BBC site today:

A gothic tomb used as a classic 1970s Hammer Horror film prop is to be sold to the "vampire market" at auction.

The prop - made from fibreglass and wood - is believed to have been used in the 1971 film Lust for a Vampire.

It will go under the hammer at Moore Allen and Innocent in Cirencester and is expected to fetch ÂĢ300 to ÂĢ500.

Auctioneer Philip Allwood said it was quite a "statement piece" and he was hoping it would "appeal to the vampire market".

"But unfortunately the auction is during the day and they don't tend to come out in daylight," he added.

Mr Allwood said the prop had come from a private client who had bought it at an auction of film memorabilia in Tewkesbury in the early 1990s.

He said film buffs in the online community had helped to identify it as being from the 1971 film.

Hammer became known for its gothic horror films, from the mid-1950s to the 1970s, featuring iconic characters such as Frankenstein's monster, Dracula and the Mummy.

Good morning chilly and overcast again here, I'm officially sick of the weather now, I've reached that point I'm afraid I'm glad yogi has some sunshine, enjoy pottering in the garden.

Squiggle, I'm currently reading a lovely book set on lake como. I'm doing a chapter or 2 every time I'm in the bath so I'm enjoying stringing it out

~Sparkling Summer~

Ooh do tell Summer, I love books about Italy   I had a very frustrating book experience the other evening.  I was browsing Amazon on my phone and came across this book set on a Greek island which looked really good, then I hit the backspace twice instead of once and couldn't find it again   I've looked since and can't track it down

Good afternoon everyone

So far, no rain but I have just put some washing out and it going a little darker. Make of that what you will

I may put in a bid for that gothic tomb

El, that floading is over the other side of Birmingham from where I am. We had a lot of rain here yesterday but not quite that much

Have a grand day everyone

Thanks EL but no it wasn't that one, the only thing I can remember is that it was a Greek island I had never heard of before

That makes it very difficult to track down as there are around 6,000 Greek islands though most are uninhabited.

As a starting point, you could have a look at this page which lists around 80 of them (the more likely candidates) to see if one of them is that island.

Afternoon Moons

Tis true. And two of them were Corgis. They'd take your hand off if you looked at their dinner

Hope all is well pal. I've got 50p on the Czechs

Hi Velvet

 Sound like vicious little bu**ers

My day is going well fankoo, hope yours is too

That could be 50p well spent Velvet

I like Erica James, I've read a few of her books.

Sorry you're under the weather, get well soon.

Goodnight and sweet dreams everyone.

Good morning everyone

Cloudy but dry here.

Summer, I hope you feel better now and have a not too heavy workload at work today

Yogi, I'm glad you had a good day yesterday

Squiggle, I had an idea first thing this morning. Unless your browser history gets cleared when you close down the browser, have a look at yesterday's history for Amazon pages. One of them will be for the book you are searching for. The Firefox history does have a search box, the IE browser doesn't but you can sort the results by site. You do need to do the search in the browser you were using if you use more than one.

I hope everyone has a good day

Good morning everyone, thanks EL for thinking about that for me.  The trouble is it was on my phone - now on my laptop it would be no problem as you say to search the history but on my phone I guess that's a different story.  I was hoping that it might show up in my Amazon browsing but no luck so far.

I am glad you feel rested and slept well Summer.  I like flicking through the TV guide too, especially for any good movies coming up.  I watched a real 80's movie I hadn't seen before yesterday Michael J Fox in The Secret of My Success.  Very dated but I enjoyed it.

Enjoy your day everyone - Yogi any sign of PB coming to see you over the weekend (and BB too of course)?

Squiggle, depending on your type of phone, it is possible to search your browser history. You could do a google search for your phone to see if you can and then see how to.

By the way at the foot of the Amazon home page at the bottom there is a small link called View or edit your browsing history. Clicking on that shows your recently viewed items.

I don't think I've seen The Secret of My Success. Michael J Fox's middle name is Andrew but he didn't want to be referred to as Michael A Fox. Apparently he chose a J as a homage to another Michael actor, Michael J Pollard.

Good morning I'm making the effort to post early in case I don't get the chance from work this morning. I've had a good night's sleep and feel well rested

what at are you all up to this weekend?

its the silliest thing but I love flicking through the tv guide from the newspaper on a Saturday

Hi Sweet

I think my weekend will be consumed with mostly footie

I am pleased you had a good nights sleep and hope the workload isn't to heavy today

Yogi, squiggle and El, I hope you have a super weekend.

squiggle, I can sympathize with your problem. I have just had a new version of the Linux OS put on my laptop and am still trying to get my head around it

Good job the guy who installed it knows me well and doesn't mind being asked a lot of questions by me

Back throughout the day as my shopping is now complete

It's possible to do a search on Amazon to try to find the book. For instance this link is to fiction books in the romance section with a reference to a Greek island. There are 387 results.

Moonie, good luck with trying to get to grips with your new Linux OS

Thanks El

Getting there but it's "work in progress"

This version is much more complex. More programs, more things to look through until you find what you want

It's going to be "fun"
