Cloudier than yesterday, still warm and humid. Tomorrow is forecast to be cooler with lots of showers and the next week is forecast to be much the same.

This is a bookshop in Porto which is being refurbished at present. JK Rowling often went there and apparently the bookshop was an inspiration for her writing. What you see is the temporary protective cover over the front of the store and is very unusual.

Good morning everyone, it's humid but cool here.   They showed the higher temperatures on the weather map on the news last night and they stopped at the end of Somerset which is not that far from me.  I was pleased because like you Moonie I hate humidity and when it's really hot it's very unpleasant.  I hope today is cooler for everyone and especially at night-time so you can sleep in comfort.

Those pictures are fascinating EL, I love the view across the river, that billboard takes me back, they used to use that advertising Sandemans port I remember.  The church is fascinating too.

Good morning it's been a humid, overcast start here today but I've just eats breakfast in the garden and the sun is coming out as I type. 

I've been a good girl and done a workout DVD before breakfast now housework calls...

It's been a strange day here. First it's hot and humid, then it goes cool and breezy, then back to hot and humid again 

I saw on the local news it could hit 27 degrees here this afternoon
