Good morning everyone, it's very overcast here. There was a rumble of thunder last night but that was about it and I don't think we are forecast any rain until Friday, although we could do with some.
Yogi what a nuisance, is it a part they need for your double oven? I think they should make standardised parts for all these things, especially if they are built in. I hope all goes well with your client EL.

Thanks Squiggle My client meeting went well though a lot to go through. Her husband is also a client (a different business) and I passed her a list of the information I need for his tax return to pass to him. This year I will have to do a capital gains tax calculation for his return. The calculation will be easily the most complex I've ever done and there's a lot of information I need from him. He will need to get information from other people which will take time. I've given him a deadline if he wishes to get the computation agreed with HMRC before the return is submitted. It's optional but in his case advisable. He tends to leave things until near the deadline in which case the return won't get done in time. I have already warned him and of course my fee will be higher than a normal year.

The closest one to me is the Jenner Hut where Edward Jenner did his smallpox vaccinations (outside China he was the first person to develop the idea of vaccines). I doubt if I've got any information. I do have a very old history of Gloucester but Jenner didn't live in Gloucester so I doubt if there's any reference to him in it.
