night yogi -lovely to see you
I'd sign it too! It's sch a good show. I hope it's really just a stupid publicity stunt, but that's wishful thinking on my part
aw goodnight yogi, sleep tight
Good morning everyone
Very cloudy here and forecast to stay cloudy until Sunday.
Yogi, I'm glad you had a good day with PB
Article on the Radio Times website from 13 May about Home Fires:
http://www.radiotimes.com/news...ter-that-plane-crash
It also include a link to the petition.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone.
Weather is dry and sunny.
I slept well last night - probably a combination of lots of fresh air and trying to keep up with PB.
El, thank you so much for that link. I've voted in the Poll and signed the petition.
Does the forum look slightly different this morning, or am I imagining things?
Have a good day everyone.
Yogi, I'm not aware of any change in the appearance of the forum. Is there anything you see which looks different?
It won't be related to the update which is due later and I know that it hasn't been done yet. The update is for adminstrators only rather than for members.
Good morning everyone, I was astonished that they left Home Fires in such a cliffhanger and are going to drop it! Totally amazing. It seems to have had quite a following so I can't see that it could be to do with audience figures.
I hope Mr Yogi is recovered this morning well done him on being such a wonderful grandad, and I am glad you all had such a lovely time. It's nice to know that BB is such a little smiler too. Our wee one is such a joy, his dad posted a video clip of him dancing - amazing he has all the moves already!
Summer I am glad you liked the Twinings Hot Chocolate
Enjoy your day everyone

The font size was smaller but it's back to normal now.
Probably a blip on my iPad.

I love to watch little ones dance.
It does seem odd that ITV cancelled Home Fires claiming that they did it to refresh their drama output. I could understand it if the series had been running for years but after 2 years
A new BBC1 series starting on Thursday 9th called New Blood may be worth watching, Two junior investigators come together against a new breed of criminal - the uber-rich and powerful corporations, individuals and governments who hide behind legitimate facades. My reason for mentioning this is that the series is created and written by Anthony Horowitz. It won't be a Foyle's War type of series but I think it could be rather enjoyable.

Disney's making a sequel to Mary Poppins. Emily Blunt rather than Jule Andrews.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-36424443
Although IMDB has the film called Mary Poppins I imagine that will be amended to avoid confusion.
Considering the director Rob Marshall has previously made films such as one of the Pirates of the Caribbean and also the film version of Chicago I wouldn't have thought the film will have the same innocent magical quality of the original.
Good afternoon,
a wet one here today but it smells fresh bramble is rather wild today so I'm going to take her out for a long walk
thanks for the link El, I too have signed the petition
Summer, I hope your long walk is a good one and calms Bramble down
The new series of crime drama Endeavour will contain "many respectful tips of the trilby" to mark the 30 years since its central character's TV debut.
The fourth season of the show, which follows the early career of Endeavour Morse, will include "guest casting" and "heritage characters", ITV said today.
Created by Colin Dexter, the much-loved Inspector Morse debuted in 1987.
James Lawrenson, who appeared in that show's first episode, will be among the cast for the new series of Endeavour.
Set in the summer of 1967, the series will see Morse, played by Shaun Evans, and the rest of "Oxford's finest picking up the pieces of their lives, both personal and professional", the spokesman said.
Roger Allam, Anton Lesser, Sean Rigby, James Bradshaw, Caroline O'Neil, Dakota Blue Richards and Abigail Thaw will all reprise their regular roles.
The series will once again be written by Russell Lewis, who also wrote for Inspector Morse and created the spin-off show
Velvet, you want to catch up on Endeavour. It is very good and is on a par with Morse.
Afternoon Velvet, are you enjoying the sunshine?
El, I will give New Blood a go but I'll pass on the new Mary Poppins.
Good to hear Endeavour is coming back and that Roger Allam is still in the castlist
Velvet, Endeavour is worth a watch.
Summer, I hope the walk settles Bramble.
Velvet the third episode of the third series (Prey) of Endeavour is rather good, as are all the other episodes but that episode is quite something.

We had a great day with PB. The weather was sunny so we went to a park which has a big children's play area with lots of slides, swings, climbing frames etc.
Moonie, we saw some swans and cygnets at the park we went to today - but the pair of swans we saw, only had seven cygnets.
Squiggle, I remember Leslie Caron. She was a very good dancer.
El, I liked the actress, Maureen O'Hara.
Summer, we saw a border terrier today and PB said, "That dog looks like Bramble".
Hi Yogi
Better late than never with the reply
Awwwww, did PB like the swans and cygnets Yogi?
Seven is still a lot of little webbed feet running around
The ones here look quite big for my first viewing. The must have been hiding in the nest
Yogi19 posted:~Sweetie Pie~ posted:Aaaaaw I'm touched that she knows who Bramble is
hi yogi it sounds like you've had a lovely day, what great fun
Hi Summer. She certainly does know who Bramble is.
I was a lovely day. Grandad is in bed - he was her horse at one point. She sat on his shoulders, made him run and she shouted "yee-ha!", while waving her sunhat.
Poor Mr Yogi
I bet he loved every minute of it
Hope he is feeling less like a horse and more like a human today
Good afternoon everyone
It's a cold miserable but dry day here. More like January that June 1st
I have spent a lot of time out and about today but little to show for it
Hope you are all having a good day
Evening all I hope you're having a good day
I'm already in my pj's after a cold, wet walk, I had a long hot shower and decided to get my pj's on early. I've blow dried my hair properly, and done a facial! It's good to treat ourselves isn't it
Bramble is still lively, but she's settling down next to me. She was full of beans on her walk and chased a lot of rabbits- it must be Spring
I've got an early evening client meeting to go to so won't be around here until tomorrow. I'm about to have a meal first as I have no idea when I'll get back home.

Hi Velvet
I was a little amazed tbh...its doesn't look balanced to me...

You seem to be sorted for the evening
I hope she didn't manage to catch any though
Today is the first day of meteorological Summer, Sweet

I'd like to see Kane and Vardy up top now
Have to say that seems to be the "dream team" well pair
It's the defence that bothers me tbh. We seem to be lacking there
What's a meteorological summer? I like the sound of that
ah that she is velvet, I do try my best how's your day been?
I've just poured a hot chocolate, who else would like one?
Evening all
Hi Moonie, are you feeling better now?
Summer, I watered and fed the plants in my PJs tonight - good job we have that high fence around us.
Velvet, you are right, Bramble is a lucky dog and very well taken care of.
El, I hope your meeting went well.

It's a term meteorologists use for months that include June, July and August, according to our good friend Google, Sweet
I heard that term on the weather forecast on the telly last night. No better off even after looking it up tbh
