Thanks Moonie It was a safe journey and nothing spectacular to report (ignoring the plane which missed the local airport and landed on the road in front of me - I'm not being serious )

Glad you're back safe and sound El

I am watching Air Crash Investigation right now

I've never seen Air Crash Investigation  - hums the Twilight Zone theme

Good morning everyone, the weather seems to be letting us down for this Bank Holiday weekend, it's dull and coolish here too.  Moonie I hope you are feeling brighter this morning.  Have a lovely weekend with friends Summer, is it their first time visiting your new home?  Enjoy your day with middle son and DiL Yogi.  EL I hope your weekend goes well, and you too Velvet of course.

Enjoy your day everyone

Squiggle and Velvet, I hope you are enjoying the bank holiday weekend.

Good morning everyone

A generally sunny day here today.

Yogi, as you say, that caterpillar web is a bit creepy

Summer, I'm glad you had a good time yesterday and the thumbs up from your friends about your house

For fans of the Cranford series, the Drama channel is showing the complete series today.

I hope everyone has a good day

Good morning everyone, a brighter morning with a hint of promise of sun to come.  I am so pleased that your friends love your new house Summer and feel that it is the perfect home for you   That caterpillar web is quite amazing EL and yes definitely a little creepy.  Moonie I hope you are feeling a little more like your usual self this morning   Thanks EL, I love Cranford, definitely my second favourite next to Pride & Prejudice.  I have it on DVD otherwise I would be recording it.

Enjoy your day everyone

Squiggle, it's those clips which are putting me off as well.  It's likely that the "It's Oh so Quiet" music over the clip isn't actually used in the adaptation, just the trailer. (I don't know if they are using the Bjork version or the original Betty Hutton version of that song - they are similar even if years apart)

Evening all.

It ended up warm and sunny today. I spent most of the day pottering about in the garden, and Keira and I managed to have a nice walk together.

El, I noticed you mentioned Burt Kwouk in one of your posts. I'm about to start watching Tenko dvds which I ordered from Amazon, and Burt was one of the cast.

Goodnight and sweet dreams everyone. Hugs for the night owls.

Good morning everyone, I think it's going to be a sunshiney day again today, so lovely to see photos of my eldest grandson on his local beach with the kiddies yesterday, all having fun.  He also spotted my old car parked in the local car park there with lots of surf boards on top - the guy we sold it to is a surfer.  The car is still being kept in perfect condition nice to see that he treasures it too.

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever your plans are for this Bank Holiday

Aww, I bet the kids had a lovely time on the beach.

How nice to find out that the new owner is taking good care of your old car.
