Well done Moonie, I think you must hold the record for number of washes, I've only done 2 but I've cleaned the car too.  Yogi the plants did arrive before my gardener left so he was able to plant them for me.  Well done on getting your hanging baskets planted up

Hi squiggle

Good weather and a lot of dirty washing

Two washes is great considering you washed the car

That alone is worth two washes

I've had a better coupla days tbh. Just can't can't be a passenger on fairly long journeys. I'm a control freak when it comes to driving. Let someone down

We all have those days sometimes.  Don't beat yourself up - tomorrow is another day and probably a better one

Velvet, I agree with squiggle. We all have those days. So, positive thoughts for a better tomorrow

That was good timing. Were you happy with the plants?

The plants in my hanging baskets are quite small atm, but I'm hoping they will look lovely when they are in full bloom.

Oh yes Yogi the quality of the plants is outstanding. I just have to try and run the hose to them for a day or so until the good Lord will help me out with the watering. Lavateras are quite forgiving though and very quick growers.  Your hanging baskets should fill out quickly, of course watering nightly is essential for them.

That's brilliant, Squiggle. I'm sure they will come on a treat.

I'll make sure I water them nightly and feed them regularly too.

Good morning everyone

The sunny conditions have gone here, it's very cloudy and not expected to be as warm as a result.

I see that it is hoped that a museum will be built to celebrate the work of Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company on the derelict land where the firm was for years.

My paternal grandfather worked there and the firm was closed down decades ago. He died before I was born.

I hope evryone has a good day

Fankoo moonie! You would have been proud it's hard to slow down after a lengthy drive so I used the momentum productively

hows your day been?

Welcome back, we've missed you. I know what you mean about it being hard to slow down after a long drive. When I was younger, after driving over 300 miles I unloaded the car and put everything away. Started the washing, cleaned the house top to bottom and then washed and hoovered the car.

Welcome back, Summer.

El, I love all things Beatrix Potter. I've got books I had for the boys which I have already read to PB and and will read to BB. When middle DiL and I went to The World Of Beatrix Potter, we didn't want to leave.

I'm in the middle of a good book, so I'm going to get off and read for a while.

Goodnight and sweet dreams Moonie and Velvet.

Night owl hug for Ros.
