Evening Yogi and Sweet. Good to have you both back again

It's good to be back.

Holidays are okay but there is no place like home

 Absolutely right, Moons.

I bet Keira was pleased to see you

She was quite funny. We got home around 1am and she had been fast asleep in the house - middle son had dropped her off at our house earlier that night and then he came to pick us up from the airport. Keira didn't even notice we were in at first and she just followed my son to the back door. I called her and she stopped dead and I called her again and she whirled round and made a huge fuss of me and then noticed Mr Yogi was there too. She was a very sleepy girl!

She's the sweetest, the loyalty & love just melts my heart. I bet she's sleeping peacefully now that you're home

oh yay! At last yogi, now you can make definite plans I did a little trimming & pruning today, I'm surprised how much the garden has come alive in the last 2 weeks.

goodnight yogi

My grass has grown a lot since I mowed it a week or so ago Sweet

i will research & pick one that is safe to use, and will probably keep her away from it for longer than they recommend anyway. It's block paving style rather than big slabs, so hand weeding it would take a long time

i I hope your garden is nice and easy to maintain

Have you thought of hiring one of those power sprayer things Sweet. People use them around here. The seem to be okay

Mostly grass, flat and even

Rocking Ros Rose

Good morning everyone, it was a muggy night and is still very heavy this morning.  I've got every window flung wide trying to get the air flow.  I can see a hint of blue in between the very heavy clouds.  Like you we are getting the rain later and then most of the day tomorrow EL.

Aww I loved that story about a sleepy Keira, bless her, she is such a sweetheart Yogi.

Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning everyone.

We have sun!

El, well done on getting the grass cut.  Mr yogi has been cutting ours, while I got on with some housework.

Moonie, your back garden looks very neat indeed.

Squiggle, Keira really is a sweetheart.

On Saturday, PB asked if she could give Keira her dinner, but she dropped a few bits as she was putting the scoop of food into Keira's bowl. Keira started eating before PB noticed the dropped food, so she squatted down beside Keira and put her hand with the little bits of food into Keira's bowl. Some dogs would have been less than happy to have anyone interfere with their food, but Keira simply carried on eating - with PB squatting bedside her and her hand in the bowl.

For a dog who wasn't used to children when she was younger, Keira is brilliant with our grandchildren - as is Harvey.

When we introduced Keira to BB, we could almost see her thinking, "Oh yes, I know what this is and I know how to behave around him". She is very protective of PB and I have no doubt will be the same with BB (especially if he feeds her titbits like PB does).

Have a good day everyone.

Good sunny afternoon Buddies

Glorious day here after a slow start

Yogi, Keira is such a darling. She know PB isn't trying to steal her food. Bless her little paws

My niece's Staffy is just the same. She is 8 and still thinks she is a pup

When you go into their house, all you see is little brick outhouse with teeth running toward you. Frightens people who don't know her. But she is a real softy

Sweet, I hope Bramble is feeling better

Hi squiggle and El

Thanks Yogi, that was a couple of days after it was done. It's looking even more healthier now

Hi Moonie

I've had two clients come to see me in the last 45 minutes. I was able to end the first meeting before the second client arrived.

The second one had his young daughter with him to had to get home as she has some maths homework to do, Decimals which she finds boring. She said that today she and her class partner were using a computer to look at train ticket prices. Her partner had mistakenly clicked on the pay button to buy a ticket though the teacher was able to stop them in time
