Good morning it's a beautiful morning here, bramble and I are going to enjoy a nice walk before I come back to continue my tasks. I'm pacing myself to avoid burning out. Yesterday was hectic at work but that should calm down a bit now the kids are going back to school.
i hope you're all having a good weekend and Moonie, it's good to know that Owl mania is sweeping the country maybe I'll get a little one for my garden!

I'm not really a golf fan though do watch a little
I have 4 recorded footie games to get through and a trip up the park to check on the nesting swans. The pitter patter and flip flop of tiny webbed feet will be forthcoming soon as the swans have recently moved onto the small island in the small pool, which is where they bred last year.
The female has been sitting on a huge nest they rebuilt from last year
There's been speculation about a possible 9th planet in our solar system (Pluto is no longer regarded as a planet).
Some researchers have been working out what it might be like.

After being fed he heads off back to his mate...
I feed them mostly specially formulated swan and duck feed that floats on the water. Not that it's there long enough to sink anyway
The line you see on part of the video is the sun reflecting off the water

I'm not surprised that Granchester is returning. I wonder what will happen as far as Sidney and Amanda are concerned. I don't think that in those days an Anglican priest would have been permitted to married a divorced woman as long as her ex-husband was alive. Even now, the Archbishop of Canterbury or York would have to give permission. Or, of course, the priest leaves the priesthood.

There used to be the concept of another Earth orbiting the Sun at the same distance and the same speed but on the other side of the Sun so that it would never be visible to us. Space exploration has of course disproved that concept outside science fiction.

Good morning everyone, I was just hoping for a dry day for Moonie and EL after yesterday and now you have the rain instead Yogi. It's dry here now but I know the forecast is for rain later. Still the gardener is cutting the lawn now so it's good to get that done while it's dry.
Our special little girl has a birthday! I hope the wee sweetie has a very special day and that everyone has a lovely time with her, watching her blowing out the candles on her birthday cake.
