That's lovely squiggle, you'll greatly enjoy it. What I liked about the book was that you got a small glimpse into what happened after the wedding

Ooh I'm looking forward to it even more now I was just thinking this morning they could have made a couple more episodes.  It's so long since I read it, and now I come to think about it, it was in another century that I read it!

Squiggle, I hope you love re-reading Pride and Prejudice I assume that you, like me, have no intention of ever seeing that parody with zombies which was released recently

No I won't As you know I love the BBC adaption which I thought was just perfect.  I watched the Keira Knightley film which was OK but no match.

I would have been very surprised if you had intended to see that zombie version As I've mentioned before I can't watch your favourite version as I don't like Jennifer Ehle's smile (she inherited that from her mother Rosemary Harris). My favourite Jane Austen adaptation is Ang Lee's Sense and Sensibility.

I'm still getting phone calls from that fraudulent ÂĢ8000 grant criminals. I did block it so they don't get through. Doing some looking into it the way it works is that I would be given another phone number to ring (a London number). If I was to insist on being given an address I would be an address of the UK government grant office in High Holborn.

If I was to ring that number, if I got through, I would eventually be told that I needed to pay a fee (say ÂĢ200/ÂĢ300) to be able to release that ÂĢ8000 and given instructions as to how to pay it. As you know, anyone who does that has lost the money they've paid and would never get the ÂĢ8000.

I did some research into the High Holborn address. The address is genuine and a number of businesses do operate from it. But what I discovered it is also possible to pay around ÂĢ85 to get a virtual office with that address. That means that someone can operate from anywhere in the world but give the appearance of being based in London. All calls would go through to wherever they really are based.

Good morning everyone, hazy cloud again but still a nice morning, it is cold though.

Oh poor you Summer, I hope you feel better soon.  I've gone into Pride & Prejudice overload and have ordered a beautiful hardback copy, I don't think I've read it since my teens but I fancy reading it again.

Enjoy your day everyone

Much as I love my Kindle, nothing beats a real book.

There has been a series up here about Scotland's scammers. The lengths these awful people will go to to scam others, is terrible. In some cases, they ruin lives.

It's a good job you are savvy, El, and don't fall for this rubbish.

I need to google Jennifer Ehle's smile, to see why you don't like it.

Hi Moonie. Apart from a missing post, hope all is well.

I'm chilling now, thanks Velvet.

the "Mystery of the Missing Post"

Yes, all is fine fankoo

I see you have been busy

Keira has brushed past a door that's just been painted. Mr Yogi is not happy.

 I bet he isn't either

Moonie

Evening I'm tucked up in bed with a hot water bottle and a hot toddie (lemon/honey/brandy). My bug has fully evolved into a streaming cold! To cheer myself up I've put pride & prejudice on

I'm at the part of the Netherfield ball.

moonie, I very much hope you don't have the same bug as me

El, sorry but I love Jennifer Ehle, I remember being in awe of her as a youngster and for me, she's the only Elizabeth Bennett

the actress who plays Jane in the Kiera Knightly film version did impress me, she deserves credit for that

I wouldn't fancy the zombie version, but I do like Lily James who is in it.

Take care of that cold, Summer.

I'm sure Mr Darcy will cheer you up.

Mr Yogi managed to remove the hairs from the door but it will need "sorting" tomorrow.

Lol She was fine. I think the hairs were pulled out when they stuck to the paint on the door, rather than the paint sticking onto her.
