Good morning everyone, Yogi I hope you and Mr Yogi's backs are feeling rested this morning and you will be able to get on with the decorating without discomfort.  It's always lovely when it's finished isn't it?

Summer you and Miss Bramble seem to be enjoying a great social life together I am glad you had a lovely time.

Enjoy your Saturday everyone

squiggle

Good morning it's a lovely day here, although partially overcast, everyone is in a good mood.

I see my grammar last night wasn't my best I was trying to get the message posted before i churchilled lol

yogi I hope you aren't too stiff & sore today, keep yourselves topped up with refreshments whilst decorating

squiggle, we are very lucky that we have met nice people and can strike a good balance between our alone time and socialising. I'm not one for going out to bars & rowdy places, but nice walks & coffee shops etc are just lovely

what are everyone's weekend plans?

I'm having a nice quiet weekend, tonight is pizza & costing up in my onesie. We'll be dog sitting for a friend tomorrow so I'll find a nice long outdoor adventure for the dogs

~Sparkling Summer~

I hope our local church vicar was able to get some sleep last night. She spent the night sleeping on the floor in the cloisters at the cathedral. She and others were doing this to raise money for homeless service veterans and the local home for veterans (which is near the church).

It looks as if she has raised about ÂĢ700.

It looks as if much of England and Wales are having spring like weather this weekend. Summer, tomorrow afternoon could be glorious weather in your area, perfect for your long outdoor adventure.

Good morning everyone

Bright weather here, hardly a breeze, and no rain in the forecast.

Yogi, I hope your decorating continues to go well without any casualties

I hope everyone had a good weekend

Hi El,

Its a lovely morning here now the sun has broken through

Have a great day everyone

Moonie

With both Cheltenham and Forest Green winning no change at the top of the table with Cheltenham ahead by 2 points and with a substantailly better goal difference. Velvet, there's only 1 automatic promotion, with play-offs for teams in 2nd to 5th place for the one other promotion. So although it looks as if one Gloucestershire side will be top, which is the big question and won't be decided for some weeks.

*night owls* I was planning on being here hours ago but the evening has ran away with me! I got a surprise phone call from my sister in Spain and it was lovely to hear her voice

it was very Spring like here today, so El I hope that you are right and tomorrow is a beautiful day here

I like that ship/viaduct illusion picture.

sweet dreams yogi you've earned that early night

Moonie & velvet, I hope you've both enjoyed the days sports

squiggle I hope you had a lovely day too

goodnight all, and leaving a hug for Ros

Good morning everyone

A slight mist here which should go fairly quickly and then clear blue sky It's foggier on the east side of England but that's expected to lift during the morning to leave blue sky this afternoon.

Yogi, I hope the wallpaper hanging goes well today

Summer, I hope you, Bramble and guest have a great walk today

Good morning everyone, slightly hazy cloud but looks set fair to be a nice Spring day.

What a lovely surprise for you Summer, yes thanks it was a nice day, I am glad yours was too.  I hope the wallpapering goes well Yogi.  Have you bought ready pasted or will you be getting the pasting table out?  I don't have the energy to keep getting up and down steps nowadays but I quite like wallpapering, it's somehow calming.  I'm not too clever around light switches though, I give it a go but usually muck it up.

EL & Moonie I hope you are having a lovely sport-filled weekend.  The cake looks delicious EL but I'm not a fan of passion fruit.

Enjoy your day everyone

Oh my worrrrrrd that's my kind of breakfast El! I love passionfruit.

Good morning I hope you all slept well it is indeed foggy here this morning, but it looks like it's got the potential to bloom into a lovely day.

I'm enjoying a lazy lay in but will get up shortly and do some yoga before breakfast. It wakes me up properly- body and mind

what are you all doing today?

~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning Buddies

Lovely sunny morning here. First wash on the line. The second one spinning in the washer

El, lovely looking cake. I like cake

Hi squiggle

Hopefully your haze will soon become full blown sunshine

Sweet, you deserve a lay in

I hope you, Bramble and Bramble's doggy friend have a lovely stroll later

Yogi, good luck with the paper hanging today. It's looking more likely that my "conciliatory hat" won't be required after all

Have a lovely day everyone

Moonie

Good morning everyone.

Weather is dry and quite mild atm.

Eldest son has started hanging the wallpaper.

Squiggle, it isn't the ready pasted stuff. Son likes to use the ready mixed paste and do it himself. He is like you, he quite enjoys hanging wallpaper.

El, I like passion fruit and that cake looks delicious.

Summer, enjoy your yoga and your walk. I hope the weather stays fine for you.

Moonie, well done on getting your washing out. My first load is still washing atm.

Have a good day everyone.

Hiya Yogi

Well done to your eldest. Wtg

Nooooo, you have enough on your plate so a little behind with washing is understandable

The only reason mine was done early was because I awoke and couldn't get back to sleep

Good luck with the rest of the paper hanging. Well done to the sons of Yogi

See you later and I hope the weather stays fine for when you get your washing out

Passion fruit comes from a type of passion flower. The passion flower was so named by Spanish missionaries when they were in South America as its appearance has some similarities with some of the symbols associated with the Passion of Jesus

Today is the fifth Sunday of Lent and in the C of E it used to be called Passion Sunday,

I have said before and I will no doubt say it again....

El, you are a mind of fascinating information

Gave them a bit of backbone eh?

I wonder if the local A&E was any bruiser than usual El?

Possibly not as he admitted he wasn't as fit as he used to be so I doubt if he was as agile as he was.

How lovely El! What a wonderful surprise

happy passion Sunday then

moonie I hope you're enjoying your day, it sounds like fun!

We had a lovely walk on the beach, and  both dogs we're snoring in the car before I got home

now, we're being lazy and watching a movie

Hi Sweet

I am enjoying my day fankoo and yep it is fun

I am glad you all had a lovely time at the beach. Snoring in stereo, I love it

What move are you watching, 101 Dalmations?

Moonie

Sounds like it's been a lovely day for everyone.  What a lovely surprise EL.  That sounds like a lovely day, I can just picture two happy, tired and snorey dogs   The weather has been simply gorgeous, a perfect Spring day.

My treat has been to watch Pride & Prejudice (our favourite one) oh so lovely.  I watched episode 5 today but had to watch just the last little bit of episode 4 again.  When I've finished it, one more episode to go, I shall make a mental note to watch it all over again in a few weeks.  They really don't make them like that any more.

I hope your evening is a pleasant relaxing one everyone.
