Moonie, it could well rain here all day tomorrow in my area too, though the worst  is the early morning with an inch of rain forecast. I'm not expecting to go out tomorrow. If you do need to go out I suggest today rather then tomorrow.

El, I have just been down the road. It was cold and just started to spit with rain on the way back. I have to go out on a Wednesday or it will have to be left until next Wednesday, which I don't want to happen. I shall pick a hiatus in the weather if it does rain

Good morning everyone

A wet and windy morning here as forecast. A man who lives neatby does some roofing work and over the last week has been working on a house almost opposite mine. I think he's replacing the felt over the flat roof over their bay windows. I've just seen him in waterproofs putting an extra strut on the scaffolding to strengthen it because of the wind. Having done that he's gone back home. I doubt he'll be doing roof work this morning.

BBC had a documentary on the return of the Flying Scotsman on Monday which I recorded and watched yesterday. Worth watching for anyone who likes steam engines.

Good morning everyone, gale force winds again.  I have to venture out later so I will try and be careful.  I hope that everyone is safe today and that some have better weather than this.

Yogi how did you get on with carpet shopping?  I hope you found some you liked.  Summer I hope Bramble is soon over being in season.  Shame there are no suitable stud dogs for her to have one litter but then again could you bear to part with the puppies?

Squiggle, stay safe when you go out. I find that cars are less likely to be blown around if the fuel tank is full rather than nearly empty due to the extra weight.

I have to venture out at sometime today. Gonna try and pick a break in the weather, should it come. If not then a soaking is on the way

Hi Sweet 

It's been rain here 2-30am Sweet. Huge puddles on the field at the bottom of the garden. I haven't seen those to many times in all my time here(most of my life bar the first 18 months) 

Safe journey to work later 

I am hoping for a break in the weather so I can get out otherwise it's a soggy trip for me. I may come back with a little treat for me/us

I have been out El. The rain eased and I managed to catch the bus that stops hourly outside my else. Just enough time to shop and bank before the bus returned. So door to door service 

Just slightly damp
