Good morning everyone, lots of grey cloud today.  Successful pancake day then Summer   Moonie I thought it still was carburettors I am so out of touch.

EL I hope all goes well at the dentist, sometimes trying to save a tooth is not worth the effort.  I had a molar where the inner wall had fallen away and the dentist I had then kept trying to partially fill it but in the end she gave up and I have never missed it.

Such an interesting fact about Norman Hudis, thanks EL, I knew that the first Carry On films were more enjoyable than the later but didn't know why.

Enjoy your day everyone

I'm back from the dentist. After he examined the tooth we came to the comclusion that it was best for it to come out. Although the tooth might have been saveable, it would have involved a lot of work and the outcome too uncertain to be worth taking a gamble. The dentist was puzzled as to how the tooth had decayed in the way it did as it seemed that the decay may have started in the root. I think it may have been as a result of, when I was young, being hit by a cricket ball roughly mid way between my left eye and the left side of my mouth.

So the tooth was removed though it was quite a job for the dentist. Contrary to what happened to Yogi a few weeks ago, a follow up appointment was made for a week's time to remove the stitches and to check on progress.

Squiggle, they often show the Carry On films on television and showed some of the early ones very recently as I saw them trailing a couple of them, the Sergeant one (which was the first) and the Nurse one (which was the second one). Hudis's others were Teacher, Constable, Regardless, and Cruising.

El Loro

Evening all I've got my hair wrapped up in a towel so will have to dry it in a mo, but just wanted to check in.

El, I think that's been a wise decision. Sorry you've had to endure the pain of an extraction & stitches though, I hope it heals up swiftly, cleanly and with as little discomfort as possible

aw yogi that's lovely! it sounds like you've had a wonderful day, and have much to look forward to tomorrow *wonders what new toy PB will be having*

squiggle that pic is brilliant

Glad to hear it, i bet she's looking gorgeous. I've just wormed Bramble, she'll be sleepy tomorrow

I hope it's a good whodunnit reveal tonight

I tried to get a decent pic of her looking pretty but she kept sitting down or turning away.

I've got to be honest, I'm not giving MM my full attention.

Keira doesn't want to model today does she bramble does that sometimes too, usually when she looks her prettiest too

You would think I was pointing a gun at her instead of an iphone camera.

That's coming with the North Korean copy of the Galaxy S7

Evening you two

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

Evening Velvet.

Good morning everyone

Sunny and cold here. There's a possibility of a shower late in the day.

The extraction hasn't caused any problems so far. I took painkillers before I went to bed more to reduce being woken up in pain rather than being in pain. I haven't needed any painkillers this morning

Midsomer Murders is one of those programmes where it's easy to get distracted. It's watchable but I prefer Death in Paradise as it's less violent with just one murder rather than multiple and is as much a how dunnit as a who dunnit.

El Loro

Good morning everyone, a few clouds but quite a bright morning.  That is such a caring dentist you have EL, I am glad you are not in pain and I hope it will all soon be healed.

Have a great PB day Yogi, I hope the weather is good and you can do some outdoorsy stuff as you couldn't on her last visit.

I hope you and your friend have a great catch-up Summer. I bet your parents laughed EL

Enjoy your day everyone
