Squiggle, I'm pleased your groceries have arrived The sea in your area is being decribed as phemomenal  That's the highest world meteorolgical organisation's category of waves - over 14 meters (46 feet) high. Not a day for walking near the sea.

Moony, I hope you no longer look like a soggy dishcloth

Yes thanks El and it's stopped raining now and the sun has appeared

Good afternoon Skylark

I haven't seen yesterday's Call the Midwife yet. It can be upsetting at times but it's one of the most honest programmes around and very involving.

I hope granddaughter has a pleasant break and that the weather's not too bad

Hi El, thanks i am sure GD will x
Yes i enjoy Call The Midwife, as you say you havent watched yet, so i shall say no more, but shall welcome your opinions on it when you have watched it. I do wish it was on at 9pm though, rather than 8pm. More organised by then!  I am sure it was on at 9pm with earlier series, but maybe not.... x

Skylark, it was shown at 8pm in earlier series. There was talk of BBC launching a BBC1+1 series which would have been useful for you but I think that idea was shelved when other broadcasters complained.

Oh really, i wasnt aware, or may have been busy at time. No warning before the programme, which may have been appropriate, i actually gasped, but luckily GD didnt see.....
Although i thoroughly enjoy the programme , some subjects i dont like a 7 year old to see....xx

Skylark, I thought I would check the BBC announcement made before last night's episode as I had recorded it. Although not an out and out warning they did say that it was another traumatic episode. Also on my recorder it was blocked and I had to enter my code to start watching. The idea is to stop children watching a recorded programme with such a block.

Evening Yogi

Give em three attempts to fix or reject is a steadfast rule       I just hope it's no Arnold Clark.

Hope all is well with the humans though, yourself being No. 1

Evening Velvet.

This is the third fault. It took them two attempts to fix the first one, then they said they couldn't find the second fault (a knocking sound which is still happening as you first drive off) and now two warning lights are on and the car feels like it's vibrating when sitting at lights or junctions.

They need to get their act together or they are going to see Mr Yogi's angry side - and that won't be pretty!

I'm good thanks. Hope all is well with you and your mum.

Evening Moonie

I'm hoping things get sorted, without the help of Velvet's AK47 and your baseball bat.

Well if one won't the other certainly will

 That's true

They are in deep do-do now me and Velvet are on their case

You got PB on Weds Yogi?

She's coming on Thursday this week.

Yeeeey! A happy Thursday then Yogi

We'll be going grocery shopping together. She likes to write (I do the writing) her own shopping list, which always has the same things on it - red apples, yoghurts and pink and yellow cakes.

Morrisons have a comic and toy section, so what do you think the chances are of granny being conned into buying her a toy and a comic?
