That's a nuisance, squiggle, having to wait until Tuesday for the boiler to be repaired . I can understand why a boiler engineer would not have a circuit board in stock unless he was employed by the boiler suppliers. These circuit boards cost over ÂĢ100, and different boilers would have different boards, so it would be to expensive for an engineer to have a stock of each type, particularly as it could be years before he needed a particular one.

Yogi, it's a bit warmer in Scotland tomorrow, and any snow will have gone by Monday.

I'm glad you had a nice day, Ros. I've never been to Wales but hubby has and says the scenery is beautiful. You will see me in the DOI thread tonight.

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well.

Good morning everyone

Late yesterday afternoon I got a phone call from Microsoft saying that my computer was running slow. I knew immediately this was that scam where they try to get access to your computer and your credit card so I told them I knew they were confidence tricksters and the phone went dead.
The phone number which appeared on my phone was 02064 456 568 but this is not a genuine phone number.

Good for you, El.

Beautiful pic, Squiggle.

That's the beauty of email and forums isn't it EL, that we are kept informed and up to speed so these crooks can be stopped in their tracks

The only thing I can think of Yogi is that if the pic in question was being held on a Photobucket account (or similar) if they are deleted or moved from there then the pic will disappear from the thread.
It's weird Squiggle. I posted pics in the three birthday threads yesterday and they were still there last night. This morning, they've gone.

Yogi, I don't know how you post these pictures, but if I do an image search on Google (I think you may use Yahoo), I don't post direct from the results pages. I click on the image I want, so it takes me to the original website rather than the Google/Yahoo site. And I copy the image from that. It is more likely that I will need to resize the picture.

^^^^^ That's what I do too, El. Most of the time, it seems fine but occasionally the pics disappear after a few hours. Very strange.

Good afternoon everyone

Yogi, I've done some more digging around on your pictures problem. And I'm fairly certain that it is as I posted earlier, that you are posting an image direct from the Yahoo result pages. If I use the picture you tried to post on Sandra's thread as an example, the background code shows this:

http://uk.wrs.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0S0zuzte3tNf1EASaJWBQx./SIG=12rln3093/EXP
<pre>=1299967085/**http%3a//images.paraorkut.com/img/pics/glitters/h/happy
<pre>_birthday-1727.gif
If you had clicked on the image on the Yahoo results page and posted the resulting picture, you would get this as the background code:
http://images.paraorkut.com/img/pics/glitters/h/happy_birthday-1727.gif
The main difference is that it has dropped the yahoo bit. I think that what is happening is that this forum is faced with a nested link (the paraork link is nested inside the yahoo link) and sometimes it can cope and sometimes it can't.

And the picture comes out like:

Don't try to click on this as it won't work. If you had clicked on the image on the Yahoo results page and posted the resulting picture, you would get this as the background code:

You gotta love 'em Yogi   My daughter's idea of tidying her room was to take all her clothes (that were strewn all over the floor and the bed etc and put them all in the dirty bin for muggins to wash whether they were dirty or had just been tried on   I was getting this one so and so of a linen blouse through the wash so many times, it was a complete pain to iron.
