Hi yogi how's the eviction going?

lol- I know right, it's so frustrating! Thank goodness we have the option though my mum actually gets into a sleeping bag to sit & watch tv, instead of turning the heating on

Eviction is not going well. So far, the two I wanted to leave, are safe!

The evictee will be leaving at 10.30pm.

Mr Y usually goes upstairs with the ceiling fan on and I stay downstairs with the heating on.

She's good at lying on your feet when it's cold.

TBH, I have no favourite so I'm not too bothered. As Baz would say, I do have several grrrr figures.

As you know I don't watch BB or CBB but from the odd trailer I've seen of the current CBB I'm not going to start watching.

Another frosty morning.

El, my mouth feels a little less swollen this morning, thank you.

This CBB is the worst one yet, and Ch5 seem determined to ruin the show.

I am snuggled up warm and cosy thanks Summer   I like the new thermostat that came with my new boiler, I can turn it up a few degrees during the middle part of the day to get the house cosy and then turn it down again.

Is that one of those thermostats that frequently get recommended to improve the energy efficiency rating of properties? If so, I'm intrigued 

I don't think so Summer, just a normal thermostat.  I expected they would fit a wall mounted one but he gave me a portable one so I can keep it by my chair and up the temperature at will.

Squiggle, the thermostat I got with my Worcester boiler was one which could be used as a wall mounted one or a portable one:

Mine's a little different EL but I suppose the idea is similar

Summer, if I find out what the result of that proposal was I'll let you know. It took place in the southern part of Gloucestershire so I mightn't get to find out. And of course a lot depends if the intended has seen it.

Yogi, I hope the snow doesn't cause problems for you, There's a snow warning in my area tonight but I think it's more likely to be over the higher ground in the Cotswolds rather than here where it's more likely to be rain.

Sorry for the late reply, El, I went off for a bath.

We've got 3-4 inches of snow but it isn't too bad. If you get rain, I hope it isn't too heavy and soon passes.

I'm good thanks.

I used pens on the first one I did, but I'm using pencils on this one. I'm not very artistic, but I am enjoying it.

That's what counts was it a gift? I've got 2 new books, they were gifts, but it'll take me a year to finish the first one

I bought a book and pens before I went on holiday, then eldest son and DiL bought me a couple more books and the pencils.

Yes, even though you have to concentrate, it is relaxing. Maybe because you push everything else out of your head while you concentrate on the pic,

No Moonie again today. I hope he isn't still having migraines.

I thought that earlier too. He might be really tired after, I just hope he's not having more migraines. I hope he didn't have to miss out on today's sport because of it
