It's very slippery El, either with wet mud/snow or now it's getting darker, icy paths

Take care if you have to venture out
Thank you El, I am taking Bramble for a walk but I will be very careful
Evening all.
We had a very light dusting of snow, and it's very frosty.
Moonie, I hope your migraine eases off soon.
El, I'm guessing you wouldn't be unhappy if that client took his business elsewhere.

Snow forecast over the weekend and along a certain route so may advise someone to play safe. It's too stressful for all concerned otherwise
Evening Velvet.
I missed the news and weather forecast tonight. Are we getting snow this weekend?

It is varying by region Yogi. We're forecast some for tomorrow morning and Sunday afternoon. Livingston, Dunfermline and on up the coast are getting it Sunday too. I think it looks changeable as to when and where it'll fall but it's deffo on the cards
It'll make a change from rain.
*night owls* evening

Good morning everyone
No snow here. A fair amount of blue sky and cold so a frosty start.
Yogi, I hope your mouth is less painful than earlier this week
Not a trace of blue sky here and still gales but no frost either although it is very cold.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning cold, white and sunny here!
back when I can hope you all slept well and moonie is feeling better
Thank you EL morning Summer I must have missed that Moonie was feeling under the weather, hope you feel better this morning moon man
Squiggle, Moonie posted that he was down with a bit of a migraine.
I hope he's feeling better today
I'm a numpty I remember posting about it now sorry Moonie, I hope you are feeling better now.
EL you are a wonder worker the blue sky has arrived and I think the wind abatement machine might be working (did I set it up correctly I wonder )
Squiggle, I'm glad the blue sky has arrived for you
Be careful with that wind abatement machine and whatever you do, DON'T PRESS THE RED BUTTON. That one is to start a tornado
Afternoon all.
Frosty up here. Had to scrape ice from the car windscreen this morning.
Been to the nurse for bloods and B12 injection. Then I had to go back to the dentist. My mouth is still sore and the antibiotics were due to finish today. Dentist says it's still inflammed and has given me some different antibiotics.
Off to wash down some paintwork, catch up later.
Afternoon thanks El lol our snow froze overnight but is now melting under the sun.
Blimey yogi, all that and you're still going ahead with DIY you're a real trooper I hope the inflammation eases off swiftly
squiggle I hope you're warm & cosy
Yogi, I hope your new antibiotics work better than the previous ones
I think mnay of us will be scraping ice from windscreens for the next couple of days
Good heavens EL looks nervously at red button
Oh poor you Yogi I do hope these new antibiotics work, as Summer says you are very brave I think I would be huddled under a duvet by now
I am snuggled up warm and cosy thanks Summer I like the new thermostat that came with my new boiler, I can turn it up a few degrees during the middle part of the day to get the house cosy and then turn it down again.
Thanks everyone.
I'm okay, it's not at the "wanting to bang your face off a wall" stage.

News today from the Archbishop of Canterbury that talks are going on with the leaders of the other Christian churches to see if agreement can be reached worldwide as to when Easter Day will be held each year.
At present, the dates vary a lot from year to year and also around the world. For instance, Anglican and Roman Catholic churches will have March 27th this year, the Greek and Russian Orthodox May 1st.
They may decide that it's either the 2nd or 3rd Sunday in April. Although it's never been activated there is a law in the UK passed in 1928 where Easter Sunday could be set at the first Sunday after the second Saturday in April.
It's likely to take years before any agreement is reached.

Is that one of those thermostats that frequently get recommended to improve the energy efficiency rating of properties? If so, I'm intrigued
Evening night owls I'm just reading back...

Crumbs. That could be a very lengthy, passionate & expensive debate
Ok- I'm all caught up.
Skylark, I'm with your son on that one, I'm a cold person. My mum is hot, constantly, and when we lived together we disagreed daily about the heating controls
No moonoe today, so I'm leaving a big hug for him I hope you're recovering from your migraine, and not suffering a cluster.
