Evening Yogi

Snow forecast over the weekend and along a certain route so may advise someone  to play safe. It's too stressful for all concerned otherwise

Evening Velvet.

I missed the news and weather forecast tonight. Are we getting snow this weekend?

It is varying by region Yogi. We're forecast some for tomorrow morning and Sunday afternoon. Livingston, Dunfermline and on up the coast are getting it Sunday too. I think it looks changeable as to when and where it'll fall but it's deffo on the cards

It'll make a change from rain.

Afternoon all.

Frosty up here. Had to scrape ice from the car windscreen this morning.

Been to the nurse for bloods and B12 injection. Then I had to go back to the dentist. My mouth is still sore and the antibiotics were due to finish today. Dentist says it's still inflammed and has given me some different antibiotics.

Off to wash down some paintwork, catch up later.

Good heavens EL looks nervously at red button

Oh poor you Yogi I do hope these new antibiotics work, as Summer says you are very brave I think I would be huddled under a duvet by now

I am snuggled up warm and cosy thanks Summer   I like the new thermostat that came with my new boiler, I can turn it up a few degrees during the middle part of the day to get the house cosy and then turn it down again.

News today from the Archbishop of Canterbury that talks are going on with the leaders of the other Christian churches to see if agreement can be reached worldwide as to when Easter Day will be held each year.

At present, the dates vary a lot from year to year and also around the world. For instance, Anglican and Roman Catholic churches will have March 27th this year, the Greek and Russian Orthodox May 1st.

They may decide that it's either the 2nd or 3rd Sunday in April. Although it's never been activated there is a law in the UK passed in 1928 where Easter Sunday could be set at the first Sunday after the second Saturday in April.

It's likely to take years before any agreement is reached.

Is that one of those thermostats that frequently get recommended to improve the energy efficiency rating of properties? If so, I'm intrigued

Crumbs. That could be a very lengthy, passionate & expensive debate
