Yogi, you do need to take the Christmas tree down today otherwise the tree spirits in your tree won't get released and as they are responsible for making plants grow, there would be a crop failure and it would be all your fault
At least that's according to old superstition

Good morning everyone, wow busy morning so far. Two phone calls, the first one from a friend to say that at the funeral of a friend we are both going to next Monday we are to wear no black. My friend who died loved rainbows as I do and the pallbearers will be wearing rainbow ties so we are all to go in bright colours. I think that's lovely. This is a friend I have told you about before, she had early onset severe arthritis and has lived in pain all her life, fighting to keep mobile and on every pain killer known to man. She died on the operating table of yet another operation and I know that she is finally pain-free and dancing in Heaven
The second was from the friend who I dropped off the information about Manuka honey dressings. Good for her she is fighting back and tore a strip off the nurse who came. The previous nurse had, believe it or not, put the dressing on upside down so that it caused intense pain while not providing any medication to the area. She told them that when she came out of hospital her ulcers were well on the way to being healed, they are now much worse and she was going to order the correct dressings herself. The nurse has said she will try to get the correct ones ordered. We will wait and see.
And I have had the most beautiful rainbow, so it's been quite a morning. I hope everyone is well, there is even a ghostly rainbow in the cloud as I'm typing this and for once it is dry, though that may not continue today.

And it can't be just a concidence that you had that phonecall from a friend about the pallbearers wearing rainbow ties at your late friend's funeral and you getting to see such a lovely rainbow - as close as it's possible to prove in this lifetime that your friend is dancing in heaven.

Good evening I'm just on my way out to an exercise class, but hope to be back later: I thought I had to take the tree down tomorrow but it looks like I need to do it tonight
squiggle, lovely rainbow stories, I think your friend is telling you that she is safe, healed and you don't need to worry about her any more 
keep dry & safe everyone, the rivers here have burst their banks and several areas had flooding today. Even bramble refused a walk when she saw the rain
