The day's been fairly quiet, thanks. Mum-in-Law's here, so the TV's been given over to her, anything different I want to watch I'll have to catch on the iPlayer or find a repeat somewhere. Hope it's all good at your end and you.re not all drowning in dog-fluff.

I hope she has fairly good taste in tv shows  

it's all good here thank you, I'm pausing the dog grooming session until tomorrow and the pile of fur has been disposed of she's been rolling around on her back grunting, I think she likes how it feels lol

Good morning everyone

It's cloudy here and rainy for quite a lot of the time but not expecting problems. Parts of eastern Scotland could get hit - roughly an area from Stirling up to Elgin including Perth and Aberdeen and many smaller places in those parts.
Also quite a lot of rain in the south west so won't help those places where there's been some flooding on the roads recently, but not as bad as Scotland.

I hope eveyone has a good day. Lori got a very useful birthday present, a kayak

Good morning everyone, there is low cloud slowly creeping down the hillside opposite which looks quite pretty.    The wind has finally died down and for the moment it's dry.

I do hope there won't be severe flooding in Scotland, some places do look as if they are going to be hit quite badly.

Well El, you wouldn't get me on water, let alone in an inflatable kayak though I read Lori has swapped it for a "solid" one now. Sensible

Cheltenham's home match this afternoon postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

It looks pristine apart from the goal mouth. Though I realise looks can be deceiving 

Moonie, Cheltenham does have a good pitch and I was a bit surprised when I saw that picture. As you say, it looks as if it's just the goal mouth which is waterlogged. They wouldn't have called off the match unless they had to as they were playing against the bottom club so would have expected a win.
