I am well, hope you are too

I think the Census is a bit intrusive, particularly about having to say who your visitors are. Then there's the nationality question. I suppose I'm English, but both my parents had Irish ancestors, and my mother also had Welsh ancestors, supposedly my father had an Indian ancestor, so I'm mixed. And the chances are that most of us are.

I cant see the relevance of it, we are all a mixed bag, so to speak. It makes me feel, although i havent the form yet, of the days of slavery and one had to say the ethnic personage of anyone within the home. Just makes me feel mad

It is just plain stupid, when we are trying to mix together and trying to understand our different ehthic and different lifestyles in general. I think this doesnt help. Plus why should we tick boxes to who we are?
I feel for Indian friends i have, they are Scottish, yet Indian , they value the church here, but have their own religion, what box do they tick ? GGgrrrr

The first was hetrosexual, second was gay/lesbian. third was transgender, the fourth was "other", which made us laugh and wondered what on earth ? .......
Why do they need to know - and what could "other" be? Maybe a celibate or a pre-op transgender?
