Looks as if next Wednesday's weather in my area so presumably other areas could be very wet and windy. Not named yet but looks as if it will be storm Frank. One to keep a check on and avoid travelling in the affected areas. Not surprisingly the Express has their normal scare story about this calling it a weather bomb.

I hope your day has been a good one EL.  I have just dropped my grandson's family off home, 2 very tired little children but they have been as good as gold.

This morning I watched a lovely film which I think you especially will enjoy EL although I think it's an enjoyable film for anyone.  The Christmas Candle, it's on again tomorrow on Sony Movies, I hope you can get that channel, at 3.20.

Lovely meal with my sister and nephew. Fat and full up now

She has departed to her daughters and my nephew has to work the next three nights. So it's just me and you. Well and the Darnies and Cribsters

Yogi can't wait to find out how PB got on opening her pressies

Back later to see if anyone is around

Thanks squiggle Sony Movies isn't on Freeview but it wouldn't surprise me if The Christmas Candle  is shown sometime on the likes of Channel 5 and True Entertainment as they have lots of Christmas themes films.

I do hope it's on one of those channels.  What occurred to me when I was watching it is that it would be a perfect film to watch when your brother comes next time, really add that Christmas touch to his visit

Summer and Ros, Fluffy has posted something for Baz about not being able to post pictures with some advice.
On the site Baz was using there were 3 formats - ubb, html and url. Baz was using the first one - ubb which was the wrong format. It's the url format.
As a guide, if you are copying an image address, it should start with either html or www. If it starts with something like [url or <a href before the html/www address, that's the wrong format and won't post the picture.
Then paste the address by clicking the insert/edit image icon here and pasting into the Source box.
It works for Fluffy.

thank you EL -can post them now thrilled -

Night owls!

Good evening all, I'm very late tonight. I've had such a lovely day with hubby, youngest son and future DiL. A game of Charades was hilarious, we laughed till we cried!

I'm glad everyone has had a good day.

Tomorrow is family day, so a busy one for me. I'll pop in when I can.

Goodnight and sweet dreams everyone.

Well done Ros, you've cracked the mystery of posting pictures

Summer, how to post that picture from photobucket.:
The page with that picture is this one
The format to copy is the Direct one so click on that one to copy the text
In the Add Reply box click on the Insert/edit image icon (looks a bit like a mountain with a sun)
Paste what you copied into the Source box and click OK.
You should then see the image in the reply box.

I wonder what Dickensian will be like. 20 part half hour serial with a range of characters from various Dickens's novels. Written by Tony Jordan. It's a sort of Dickensian soap opera. Although the idea may seem crazy it could work. Dickens' novels were originally published in serial form over a period of time. For instance Oliver Twist was printed in 24 instalments over a 2 year period.

I wonder what And Then There were None will be like. 3 part series. Famous Agatha Christie novel and the plot is well known. Strong cast but a big warning that although set as a period piece it contains strong language.

I wonder what Peter & Wendy will be like. A re-invention of Peter Pan. Could be interesting though Paloma Faith as Tinker Bell?

Good morning everyone, it's breezy here but dry so far.

I hope you have a lovely day Yogi I am sure it will be filled with laughter and love

I have such wonderful memories filling my mind of my gorgeous little great grandson visiting yesterday.  Standing up at the patio door kissing the glass - his Daddy ran round onto the decking so that he could kiss the glass from the other side.  Seeing his sister giggling and thrusting out his arms and legs "fun, I want to join in the fun"! quickly crawling over to join in.  Playing with the crinkly clear wrapping from his sister's dress up Frozen dress.  Such a dear happy little sweetheart, he gladdens my heart. And the icing on the cake of course seeing my beloved grandson so proud of his son.

Good luck with posting the pics Summer, EL's tips are so good, you are nearly there.

Enjoy your day everyone

Moonie, I've been listening to the football fot the national league. Interesting day as Cheltenham (who were at the top) have been away to Kidderminster (who were at the bottom) and Forest Green (who were second) have been away to Torquay (who were one from the bottom).
The results were Kidderminster 1 Cheltenham 2 which puts Cheltenham on 56 points, and Torquay 4 Forest Green 1 which leaves Forest Green on 49 points (though with a game in hand).
So a very good day for Cheltenham,

There''s more matches on Monday and an extraordinary coincidence - Cheltenham are at home to Torquay and Forest Green at home to Kidderminster.

Oh, well done the Town

Better to have the points in the bag than the game in hand El

Hi Summer - first thing your screenshot suggests to me is to wonder if your 'Settings' are blocking the sites you are trying to get the smileys/pictures from. Then I'm thinking that it's the loading of the reply box that is being blocked not necessarily the smiley image - which again might be to do with your phone's settings.

The strength of signal could be interfering with reception of uploading of the reply box - especially if it dips lower during uploading of the reply box from GaGa, but do you ever have trouble with the reply box at any other time?

I've put a copy of this post on the thread that El Loro has created.
