Evening all.

I've been colouring my hair and doing some more wrapping.

Evening Yogi

Did some wrapping yesterday and almost had a seizure with non compliant sellotape. And I used to enjoy it an all.

Evening Sweet and Moons       -   hope we're all fine and dandy

Hi Velvet

I had the same problem with the sellotape  the other day too Velvet. It seems to have a mind of its own sometimes

Hope you have had a good day

Yeah mine was splintering or running all over the place. Sometimes, I was telling myself, nothing is easy

To right too

I've got some wrapping to do tomorrow, I think I'm going to try sticking down the edges with Pritt

It's worth a try, Squiggle.

Did I mention my recent difficulty with superglue?

The little plastic knob which covers the ignition switch on my hob had cracked on the inside. We'd only replaced it a few weeks previously, so I thought I would try to superglue the cracked bit together. Unfortunately, the glue wasn't completely hard when I put the knob back on and the glue has set the ignition button so that it won't press down.

Many moons ago the gaffer thought she had found the hair conditioner whilst soapy eyed. Unfortunately it was glue in an unmarked plastic container under the sink. Comedy gold it was.

Noite Sweet  -  have a good day tomorrow

That's exactly the sort of thing that happens to me! I think I've sorted something only to make it worse, will you be able to fix it?

Moonie

Good morning everyone, very grey and a bit rainy, brighter this afternoon I hope.  It was pitch dark when I got in the shower at 7, it looked like the middle of the night.  My daughter got me to order her Christmas present for the baby, and it's being delivered today any time from 8 in the morning, that's why I was up a bit earlier than normal.  She settled on a talking teddy bear, very cute.  She had a talking Andy Pandy when she was small, much loved.

You are definitely spoiling those swans and cygnets Moonie, I bet they love to see you arrive

Enjoy your day everyone

By chance I saw the last half of a television film called A Christmas without Snow on the True Entertainment channel yesterday evening. It was made in 1980. It's a well above average television film, is not a carbon copy of so many of the Christmassy films, and isn't over-sentimental. Worth looking out for. It's about a church choir. There is a copy on Youtube but the picture quality isn't as good as seeing it on television.
The choir master is played by the late John Houseman. I remember him from a television series called The Paper Chase. Although there were a few series made, there was a gap of 4 years between the first series and the next series. It was set in a law school where he was one of the professors. That first series was exceptionally good and one of the most intelligent drama series I've seen. Houseman was magnificent in it,

El Loro

That's sad news Summer

I saw today's episode of Doctors http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/e...ies-17-161-perennial
The part of Renata is played by an actress by the name of Emily Forbes. It's very unlikely that the name will mean anything to you or that you've ever seen her as it's only the second television or film role she's done. I have an inkling that one day she could be a lot better known. So you might want to watch it in case I'm right.

I don't think it can be fixed, Squiggle amd I'm wary of fiddling around with it.

Evening all.

PB day today. Remember the story of Peter the Polar bear which was supposed to stay at our house, but ended up going home with her? Well, PB decided she didn't want to go to see Santa. Instead, she wanted to go to "Ikeena" (Ikea) to get another polar bear to stay in Granny and Grandad's house. So now we have Peter's twin, also called Peter, at our house.

@ PB

She is a gem and she knows how to get exactly what she wants

Love "Ikeena" too
